I mean no offense, but it feels like a lot of y'all are fixated on the medical part of today's episode, complaining that this is not how it actually happens. Guys, this is ITV. ITV and logic cannot be used in the same sentence. It's like all of you guys have turned into doctors today.

You guys are entitled to your opinion, so I won't say anything more on that matter. I would just like to remind you guys to enjoy the show, enjoy the episodes.

I, personally, had no expectations from today's episode. I've seen enough Indian television to know that things like surgery, therapy, mental health, abuse, etc cannot be handled well by the writers. Yes, it does annoy me, that they pick up such sensitive issues and don't deal with it properly, but you must remember the quote from Spiderman, "Expect disappointment and you won't be disappointed."

I completely agree, it’s like people are watching just so they can find faults.

Exactly! There's really no need to analyze every single detail in the show. Just watch it to have fun!

The scenes were dramatic but those who have spent time in OT know, these things do happen. Surgeons often keep their patients engaged with conversations if they are conscious and do encourage and motivate them to cooperate. Yes they encourage them to breathe as well if they are sinking.. I don't how many of these forum members are medics who are complaining of details shown in episode today?

Thank you for this info. I am ok with abhi talks but hated the live show and running commentary.

Sometimes we forget that we hold all the power. We don't have to accept everything that is pushed our way. I agree that we don't watch the show for learning Science but I refuse to accept that logic and ITV don't go together. And today's episode sucked not just because of lack of logic but also because of overacting that was done by everyone.

It didn't tug my heart strings because it failed on all accounts. Logic, story, direction, acting everything.

We have been chilling for a while now..just going with the flow and having fun here by discussing the terrible episodes but I think when we're investing time and money, it's okay to have some expectations. Why should I keep my expectations low and keep on cheering for the show? Mere chacha ka show thodi hai 😆

It's not that I am criticizing because I love the show, I am ok with mostly anything but this was to much for me. I know yrkkh is a superior show compared to most of shows on tv. I am voicing my opinion not to demean the show but so that maybe next time they handle it better.

It's ITV anything goes, shouldn't be an excuse why can't they change and try to do better surely it's not that hard.

That's actually some amazing insight! Thank you for sharing! Looks like the episode was medically accurate!

You're right, it's not that hard. I was just stating that after a certain point, I decided to stop expecting writers to deal with these issues in the right manner. They brushed off the whole panic attack thing like Akshu never even had panic attacks in the first place, how its so easy to just call someone and get admission into a MD college. There have been so many medical inconsistencies so far that I didn't expect the same writers to do a good job with this either.

But actually @atulya mentioned on the previous page, that this is how things actually work in an OT.
