My feeling is that the writers want the blame to fall on Arohi and Akshu (in terms of making him feel pain). Their desire is for Abhi to come out of this looking good and kind etc….. I don’t know if us here in IF are a minority in the way we see his actions.

I dealt life you would never be allowed to operate on someone you love. The emotions will make your surgical skills worse. But I guess that is being too realistic for a TV show.
