As much as I hate this Abhis behavior but somewhere I feel Akshara only is little bit responsible for that. He has completely gone mad. Akshara conveniently lies to the family and expects same from Abhi. She neither wants to accept him nor let's him ignore him. She knows how to control her emotions and expects same from him.

I would have loved her if she would have said to Abhi yes I love you but I cannot marry you as my family matters most to me just like your mother for you. Then this would have made sense. But she lying him that she doesn't love him is making him go crazy and I have seen this in real life too.

But Akshu is already aware she is losing him. She’s hurting. She’s in pain. But she’s not using that pain to torture others. That’s the difference.

If Abhi had given it sometime and waited until everyone calmed down, maybe Akshu would have made up with Abhi. Instead Akshu said no to him and the next day he’s there proposing to Aaru. He has never given Akshu any chance to process anything. He has never let her live with those feelings….she is not to be blamed for this behavior at all. He’s a typical entitled toxic and manipulative person wearing a mask of being this perfect man 😡

Also Akshu never let lead him on. Not once. He loves her so he feels entitled to her
