There are better and more subtle ways to take the plot where it needs to go for Akshara to feel regret* but you're right, yeh ITV show hai, HBO nahi - they always appeal to the lowest common denominator.

*Someone made a great point on another thread that what is needed for Akshara to understand Abhi's pain at being obligated to marry Arohi to be placed in an arranged marriage herself with someone she doesn't love. Then she will see how difficult it is to hide one's pain when you see yourself spending the rest of your life with someone whom you don't love.

That line annoyed me too - I've said all along that in this situation Akshara has the most control. She has called all the shots and Abhi flipped the narrative on her. But I wish he could've done it in a way that doesnt degrade his character. (I dunno but wasn't HC's delivery in this scene a bit over the top today? Not sure I'm feeling it...)

But frankly I think people would not be able to tolerate this separation for any longer 😂

And if we need to bring a rishta for akshara then that would at least take another 2-3 weeks minimum probably more

Looks to me like even now this separation will drag on and on... every light at the end of the tunnel (photo, video, sharabi secret sharings) ends up being a train barreling down to crush any hopes of revelation and remedy

This kind of behaviour was needed from Abhimanyu long back
