My parents were coming back late from a trip so my brother cleaned the house and cooked dinner for them before he went to sleep. I was chilling all day and watching nerflix but was awake when they came back. When I opened the door for them they thought I was the one who has gotten the house in order and cooked dinner. I thought ah well, why not take the credit. Next day I told my brother exactly the same thing - it’s my parents fault for thinking it was me, not mine! It’s not my job to clear their misunderstanding. 🤷🏽‍♀️
