Most of us in this thread have the same point of view regarding Naira’s character & Shivangi’s acting. I think even the makers are aware of how mundane Naira’s character has gotten post the 5 years leap and that’s why they have decided to end it, for now at least.

Rajan Shahi said in his interview that a show needs a change after every few years because the audience sets certain limitations for a character. I guess makers know that despite the limitations around Kartik, Mohsin will be able to sell it to the audience as he has done it in the past. Maybe that’s why they are willing to risk Kaira as well. Also, with Naira gone, Kartik will need to be a pillar of strength for his kids and that requires good chemistry with them. I am looking forward to Kartik and Kairav scenes post this tragedy because I know Mohsin and Aarambh will kill it.
