Vedika's father lost his life in saving Karthik's life. Vedika saved Kairav's life from Akshath. When Dadi wanted Vedika married Karthik. Now Dadi doesn't care for Vedika. Now Karthik wants Vedika to donate her kidney for Naira. What has she gotten in return? It seems the Goenka's are the one's benefiting here. What does Vedika get for going through all this?

Don't the Goenka's not owe anything to Vedika?

exactly..when you love someone your happiness is seeing them happy...and when they are in pain, then you feel their pain...that’s love...However karthiks happiness doesn’t matter to vedika. It’s all about her...which makes her a selfish person..she doesn’t love karthik..or maybe in her sick mind she feels she does...but her love for herself is far greater ..that’s why her happiness and needs comes first..😂

Her dialogues throughout this track are a proof of how she’s obsessed with Kartik and the Goenkas. She doesn’t love him because love is selfless, something which Kaira have proved time and again.

“What’s gonna happen to me if Kartik seeks a divorce, where am I gonna go, who will I have, etc, etc”. It’s all about I, me and myself, which gets her more hatred. She views Kartik as a commodity, having which would earn her the tag of Mrs. Goenka, she would have financial security for her future.
From the segments, she told Kartik “you won’t leave me, I love you, I can’t live without you, if you agree to this everyone will get their happiness back (delusional woman)”, however, the point being, it’s again all about her wants and need. She would rather watch the man she claims to love die a thousand deaths everyday than set him free to be with his rightful family. Forget about Naira, she has even wanted to separate him from his 5 years old son.

Saddest part is that none of her deeds ever came out and everyone thinks that she is a kind hearted woman and a victim of circumstances. Mine is a love marriage and I have a baby but then also I am very sure if ever my hubby will say that he has fallen out of love and wants to separate, first i will try a bit but if it doesn’t work i will set him free. Thats what any woman with self respect and dignity will do. No woman wants to be the unwanted one inside her own home.

Vedika has always been good and bad both. The goodness in her is the mask she wears , but her thoughts are full of insecurities and evilness always. Even when she asked for divorce, she was thinking something entirely different in her thoughts but to be in the good books of Goenkas she did the sacrifice drama. She felt everyone will praise her and make her feel like Goddess , when she didn’t get in return what she desired she started feeling jealous of Naira. Forget Kartik, whe couldnt even handle Naira and Naksh’s closeness, though he is her real brother. She keeps saying tere balidaan ko bhool gaye, what balidaan man?? Divorcing someone who loves his ex wife and wants to be with his family is not a balidan. Balidaan to Naira ne dia tha. You sacrifice something which is yours not something which never belonged to you.

Vedika’s character is so pathetically written that viewers are disgusted now. No normal sane human being does the things she did. Two of her most disgraceful scenes for me are :

1. When she told Naida during the car scene’ koi muje mauka to de, sab sambhal lungi’ the way she said that was so mean and rude.

2. The way she pulled and hugged Kartik in the recent hug scene, ufffff it was sooooo frustrating to watch. I couldn’t even watch the whole clip , i cringed so badly. She is a psychopath, not normal at all.

But why does Vedika want to stay with someone that never has and never will love her. She's going to be miserable and make Karthik and the whole family hate her.

I think the hate vedika gets is unnecessary and excessive.... Yes she is no angel but she is as selfish or manipulative as the goenkas and karthik are... Naira has been nothing but kind and understanding to her so i won't include naira in this

... But comparing her to goenkas, i find them exactly at her level... The difference is that we have been with karthik for years so we love him but since the whole vedika track started i found him equally appalling ..

As for the new promo, if naira gets into her "sherni" avtaar after vedika gives her the kidney then she'll be equally shitty.. Kidney rakh lo aur vedika ko bhi bahar nikal doh... Wah!... So if it turns out that there was no donation and a plan of vedika and her friend then it would make more sense to me and a final end of vedika

But as of now mujhe toh vedika bilkul ek goenka hi lag rahi hai...

There is nothing wrong in yearning for emotional support . Vedika can be understood if she is in need of a family back up and a husband support. But here she keeps her in the shoes of Naira and aim to get the same level of affection that Naira gets. That is her flaw. She is an outsider who was given shelter whereas Naira is a part of the family.

Vedika gets jealous even on seeing Naksh bonding with Naira. How could she wish to have the same brotherly love ? She was made a sister to Naksh by obligation and concern.

Same way Goenkas,despite their flaws,have connection with Naira through relation. However intimidating K Dadi is with her,Naira is able to create a space for herself in her heart.And Vedika though dearer to her can never be Naira to any of them.

I don’t think Vedika would donate her organ in reality. In Kidney transplantation,surviving with one organ also is a risk . How many years they could prolong their life span no one can tell.

Dr Pallavi would never allow Vedika to lose her organ for Naira’s sake. Both the friends top the list of people who are self cantered,manipulariive and evil.

Vedika doesn’t deserve a dignified exit. I hope ,the makers seem to understand this and planned her ending in such a way that suits the story.
