How easy it is to donate a kidney?

first I will say kartik have been forced to marry, and Vedika knew it, and second instead of Naira is back, they have not forced Vedika to divorce, they was confused too, and want not hurt Vedika. they have been fair Vedika , and not hidden something from her, and Naira have asked her to say, what is it in her heart, second Naira is in danger, she can die, so no one think about, Vedika is kartik current wife, or they are going for divorce, etc, priority is to save someones life, not who is donating, or helping. so its totally wrong to say kartik is unfair, or selfish

I want to add , that yeh rishta have not shown any fantasy crap, but the current track, and watch main lead on ventilator no scope. its very disappointing, plus irritating, and stressed.

its showing a women with no self respect, Vedika know, they have not cheated her, or forced her to leave the house, she know they don't want to hurt her, and she know kartik love Naira, he cannot be loyal her, inspite she know everything, she will be in relation with kartik, its disgusting, what is maker promoting or supporting.

if she help them, and realise that she have there support, and when she is alone now, and have no family, they are family to her, she will not be alone.

so makers should wake up, and don't spoil image of the seriel, and don't change the moral of story.

they can show many track, like different side of kaira as couple, as parents. etc.

makers have snatched the refreshment of ye rishta, and our smiles too., and main lead on ventilator, its very dispointing, plz change the track, and show us kaira milan, plzz don´t waste time on shivanghi in hospital.

Vedika's father lost his life in saving Karthik's life. Vedika saved Kairav's life from Akshath. When Dadi wanted Vedika married Karthik. Now Dadi doesn't care for Vedika. Now Karthik wants Vedika to donate her kidney for Naira. What has she gotten in return? It seems the Goenka's are the one's benefiting here. What does Vedika get for going through all this?

Donating an organ is not a small thing and Vedika is under no obligation to save Naira’s life.

For me, it’s not about Vedika disagreeing to donate her kidney, it’s the fact that she wants to do it in exchange of staying married to a guy who has no feelings for her whatsoever.

I have mentioned this in another thread and I would say the same here, I would have liked it had Vedika refused to donate her kidney because that would have shown that she’s still strong enough to take a decision for her own self.

However, she didn’t do that. She got herself tested even though no one asked her do so, agreed to donate on Kartik’s persistence but then put forth her deal.
The “forumwasis” have indeed normalised the act of donating one’s organ because Vedika made a deal out of it. She’s trading her kidney for a life as Mrs. Goenka. It is no longer an act of saving someone’s life because it seems more like a calculated and vindictive move to stay married to a rich guy because what is the poor girl gonna do if he leaves her (her words not mine).

You mentioned Kartik pleading to Vedika to save his Naira’s life because he or his child won’t be able to survive without her. If you have watched the segment, you might have also watched what follows. Vedika telling him very conveniently that he has very little time to take a decision. She even slipped in his son’s name to convince him to take her “deal”. Isn’t that emotional manipulation?

Majority of us don’t want her to donate the kidney because we don’t want Kaira to owe anything to her. People are even saying that Naira fighting for Kartik, as the promo suggested, would appear wrong if Vedika does donate her kidney. So I would disagree with you when you say audience is trivialising the transplant. To reiterate, why are we expected to sympathise with Vedika when she’s getting something out of it in return?

Also, I have no qualms in accepting that I might appear biased in my opinion. A character like Vedika who wants to stay with a guy who’s in love with someone else, has a family, doesn’t deserve love. She doesn’t need even need to act nice. She can call the Goenkas out for their unfair attitude towards her and walk out, why stay with people who she thinks don’t value her? I can’t respect a character who has no self-respect.

And most importantly all this has happened because of Vedika as she wasnt willing to divorce Kartik. She threw the papers and wanted somehow Kartik becomes hers. She wasnt the one causing the accident but she caused all the circumstances which led them to the accident spot. She knows if very well whatever evil acts she has done, but its only her who knows. It’s sickening and so confusing that every evil act of hers just goes unnoticed every time and people move forward with the pathetic storyline. In reality people would have asked , how you all three landed up in Dargah, why Naira had to leave in rush, what was the reason divorce dint take place . But naah no one is going to ask these questions. Even during her suicide manipulation and blackmail, they made Kartik so adamant that he dint even listen to what Naira had to say and simply blamed her. The things never came out and will still be the same story i am very sure about it. Vedika is not going anywhere, she is there to stay, if she is the kidney donar in reality. No one in this world can be so ungrateful to the person who has saved their life by donation an organ.

1st of all why did Vedika run to get tested if she wasn't going to go ahead and donate her kidney. She should have stayed out of it no one asked her to go for the test. Now that she is the only match she refuses to go ahead without her condition. Anyone will be selfish when it comes to saving their loved ones. And about what Kartik has done for Vedika well I think he has done more than enough. I don't know how exactly Vedikas father saved Kartik but Kartik didn't ask him to do it and he could have just helped Vedika financially instead of bringing her into his home and provide financial and family support. Kartik doesn't owe his life to Vedika which his selfish family thought he did that they forced him to marry her. To answer your question no it's not easy to donate your organ but it is extremely selfish to go and become someone's only hope so that you can blackmail them. So again I repeat Vedika should not have gone to get tested in the 1st place. Its so pathetic how she is shown to be a Saint one episode and then bang you realise all her goodness is a show and she thinks of no one but her self. So her drama on Fridays episode was cringeworthy.

I wonder if they had already planned to take this route where Kartik will make a deal with Vedika, then what was the need to make him do promises to Naira again that this time Naira’s entry in his life is forever? That they will fight every obstacle together now? Why Cvs have to make their story look so unrealistic and unhappy, hopeless and negative every time. Whatever they do, whatever they promise, whatever they decide they can never be together :( . No positivity left in Kaira’s life anymore . When I look back i fill with anguish, what they have done to such beautiful love story which started so realistically.

Had she informed Goenkas about his reality prior to kidnap,Akshat would have ended up in custody. So all the trouble happened due to her own doing,Vedika went ahead and saved Kairav to earn browny points. She knew Akshat is after Kairav still she did not do the needful.

No one forced her to marry Kartik. Vedika herself created such impression in Dadi’s mind which made her taken for granted about her love for Kartik. Miss Vedika grabbed the very first opportunity to reach her goal.She did not backstep even after seeing Kartik disinterested in marriage..,and the mehandi drama..fetched her Kartik’s promise..

All the family members went for the test. They did not call Vedika at all. She on her own took the initiative.

True love involves sacrifice not manipulation.

What Vedika / Pankhuri claims for Kartik is not love. It is something else.

Vedika covers up her aspirations to lead a carefree ,rich,irresponsible life by being Mrs Kartik Goenka under the garb of her love for Kartik.

Kartik is the means to fulfill her ambition..

No lover will barter her organ in such circumstances. She sank so lower in the history of TV charecters with grey shades.

She can not redeem herself..Her crimes are beyond forgiveness.
