Naira's self righteousness vs Kartik's need to do what's right to him

🤪I loved how they showed us how different Kaira is today.

We have Kartik who will bend any rule or anything for what makes him happy...

Then we have naira who always wants to do whats right like screw her own happiness...

but then it made me think for Vedika who is a stranger she would give up her child's happiness🤣and i was like damn they are determined in making her unlikable.

Kartik is selfish immature and self centered but human 🤣

I adore how they write him. He can be vindictive manipulative and extremely cold but you still feel sympathetic towards him. He loves extremely and hates extremely.

Naira on the other hand just likes doing what's right.

Which pisses me off so much. It neither brings everyone happiness nor does it solve problems which has been proven time and time again.

By giving Kartik to Gayu what was solved 🤣for her just her proving she is a goddess on earth it made no sense.

By Naira giving Kartik a divorce for SUWARNA what was proved then again that she is a goddess on earth?

and now for vedika?

🤣when kartik said today its not my fault nor is it yours vedika I was like yes guys its that rat crying and eavesdropping fault.

Everyone kept saying Kartik needs to show Vedika boundaries he did today...and what did naira do...go erase them and push vedika back down his throat?

I bet all of this will lead of to a scene where Vedika takes naira's hand and says shes the real devika Kairav and puts it in kartik's hand. She was never between me and kartik i was between her and kartik...yet she still did so much for me how can a human be so angelic on earth oh my eyes ....

Doing things for the greater good brings you no happiness and it makes you look idiotic

If she doesnt want kartik back and cannot forgive him then dont make this divorce some big sacrifice for the sake of vedika

Openly divorce him. dont drop papers and go cry in corners etc...

Tell him to his face your wife is insecure and to prove to her i have no interest in you i am doing this...

someone whose self respect is hurt will not run around in tears and smiles around the person who basically called them characterless.

Also if the greater good was so important to her why did she let her family think she was dead. She can do the greater good for vedika but not her own family

I agree with what u have written except for the fact that divorce is an act of mahanta...my perspective has changed with today's episode... initially I thought Naira should not get into their matter and mind her own business but now divorce from Naira's side seems essential...when Vedika told Kartik that everyone will say Naira is coming between us with her child, he dint say anything probably bcz he believed in what she is saying, so getting separated legally now that she knows they are still married is a wise decision...However I dint like the way she did, she should have told now that he doesn't need her any longer and wants to continue his relationship with Vedika so it is better to put Vedika in a better position and for that divorce is necessary and should have told about growing insecurities of Vedika..also I don't think Naira sent the papers herself, in one of the segments Vedika is holding the papers and suddenly in the precap these are shown lying in the car, I think Vedika has gotten the papers ready and Naira has signed them and Vedika instead of handing them to Kartik, played safe and put the papers in the car so that her involvement is not revealed and Naira faces Kartik's wrath. Anyway I m happy with the outcome that Naira has signed the papers and papers have reached Kartik no matter whatever is the way.

My head literally pains seeing kartik like this. I find zero faults in naira to proceed for divorce what more she can do. She was never the person to listen to anyones rant about her and her kid destorying a family.

As a women i dont know what should naira do. Be indifferent to vedika ? The one who holds her responsible and is made it clear ...that she is the reason they cant start the married life. She is not pushing kartik down her throat but vedika is pushing herself.

I dont know why but i didnt think vedikas dialouges were good. Why didnt she question them sleeping in same bed...or mention that she sees him running behind naira...not kairav. If she is so caring about their relation why ask kartik this that when he will do fikar of her instead of asking him where does she stand ? They were written poorly except the last few lines. I would have loved is she had been the same rude and cold how she was with naira. Like its your husbands fault ....and most importantly where is the honesty a friend shows...she cleverly changed the topic. Yuk. What kind of message are they even showing by kartik accepting and sympathizing with vedika and vedika trying to put arms around a married man ( now she knows )

Also acc to hindu religion no matter how grand you celebrate your second wedding with feelings and all its not approved by either law or religion if second wife is alive and there was no divorce. Everyone knows this and still she is like me me me me.

Whereas naira is opposite. I wish she would just go slap kartik and make her place in goenka house...but that was possible had kartik given her the hint that he still loves him..its toh like he knows naira will follow because he is with kairav...and thats sick.

Also naira or any sane person would do this ....now i understand how custody would be filed. They are already shooting for the court scenes.

What will happen if Naira says she wants to remain as Kartik’s wife ?

The whole family of Goenkas along with Kartik stand on Vedika’s side and prove that Naira is not a good wife or daughter in law for them.

They won’t leave Vedika at any cost instead they will show Naira her place..that is outside Goenka house.

Backbone ? Vedika? No backbone is needed to tell lies,manipulate and be double faced,hiding her real self.

Backbone is needed to stand up and face adverse situations in life. Like Naira does.

Love what you have written. Kartik’s character is always given more depth imo which makes it easier to connect to him even if he’s being a jerk. His character is never outrightly wrong unlike Naira.
For example, even when he questioned Naira, he was given a month’s worth of episodes which led to that night. I don’t agree with what he did but there was an explanation to his actions unlike Naira. She chose to run away from her family with the baby. They still haven’t given her a proper backstory to her choosing to stay away from her own family.

Even now, Kartik is acting like a jerk but that’s so much more relatable than Naira being a tyaag ki diwi for a third person. He’s being selfish but he accepts it as it is. Doesn’t hide his actions behind the facade of self-respect and self-righteousness.

As for divorce, completely agree with you. It’s not that Naira wants one, but the way she’s gonna go about with it. She hands him the divorce papers and then expect him to be okay with her moving to Goa with Kairav. How is he wrong to file for custody knowing Naira’s history of running away? She wants to take her son away from the entire family, for the sake of Vedika? How is that being mature or selfless?

Kartik was right to tell her yesterday that Vedika is his responsibility and he will deal with her the way he sees fit. This track has only proved one thing; no matter how many years pass, no matter how many kids they have, they would still act like the immature adults that they have been from the start. There has been no character development over time whatsoever.

As for people saying what else can Naira do except divorce Kartik, again, it’s not about the divorce. As Anya said, it’s the fact that it will be presented as a huge sacrifice on Naira’s part rather than her asking for it because she wants it for herself and her self-respect. Wouldn’t it be better if she tells Kartik that she wants to divorce him because he’s clearly found someone else, someone he doesn’t want to let go off despite her and their son being back in the picture?
Ever since Naira has returned, Kartik’s actions have made it seem that he chose Vedika over Naira, so why can’t Naira say that out loud to him rather than being the bad person? Kartik got a reality check from Vedika today and he needs one from Naira. It’s time he takes a decision.

Naira did the right thing.. i see kartik in a very selfish and dellusional phase and moreover he is wanting to continue his marriage with Vedika so how and in what name he wants Naira as..?? A baharwali.. so disgusting😡

@bold she is not tyaag ki devi.. what she did was practicle.. after all she had heard is kartik either saying he wants to move on.. or he doesnot want anyone other than kairav and Naira accepts kartik is angry of her decision but has kartik ever sat down and had a chat with his Ex wife.. what to decide.. actually he has made it clear time and again that he wants his marriage with Vedika to work.. so what should Naira do??

I am saying it shouldn’t be portrayed as an act of selflessness. Say it as it is rather than sending the papers through Vedika and then not telling Kartik the truth about how Vedika confronted her numerous times and made her feel like the third person.
Naira has all the reasons to divorce Kartik. He has accepted Vedika as his wife and is not ready to take a decision regarding their situation. No woman would want to be called a third person in a married couple’s life. Naira is not divorcing Kartik for Vedika’s happiness but her own self-respect. This is all I hope is conveyed in the show and not Naira recalling Vedika’s words and crying in a corner. The way Kartik has been acting lately, it’s not an impossible task to stop loving him and to want to move on for good.
As for Goa, she will. In an upcoming scene she will decide to move to Goa, would want to tell Kartik but Kartik will find out the truth before she tells him, leading him to file for custody.
