Yes he did. He said once the track ends people would say it’s good Kartik and Naira went through this journey. Idk how anyone would appreciate a woman’s character being questioned, a father being separated from his wife and son for 5 years and bigamy. It’s ridiculous but according to him the track would have an extremely positive outcome and would be loved by the fans.

The interview was nothing but a reassurance to fans that watch whatever crap we are showing because at the end of the day, Kaira are soulmates and would reunite.

They shot the wedding sequence but didn’t air it. I don’t know if it was due to the backlash or the fact that there’s still more to it. Every sign points towards the wedding happening but I still hope, somehow, the cvs undo the whole thing. I still can’t digest that Kartik actually married someone else despite the circumstances.

No one cares about the kid’s health except for Naira. Kartik is openly treating Vedika as his wife in front of Kairav, so I have lost all little hope I had from him. Vansh is making him do poja, Dadi is making him dance with her and he’s obliging instead of asking the family to calm the f down with this marriage nonsense till his son recovers.

Also he’s started feeling jealous/insecure of Naira and Kairav’s bond going by the way he delivered the last dialogue in today’s episode, that he doesn’t know what going on with Kairav because Naira is taking care of everything. Won’t be surprised if he fights Naira for his custody.

So there's going to be jealousy on karthik's side, but jealousy for his son being close to his mother? 🤣 Oh geez, this is all we lot are going to get now aren't we.

He was on his knees and all but that was because he saw the play...and maybe sometimes when you see others committing a mistake...you realize it for yourself.

And for vedika i hope lawyers come and tell it to everyones face that this marriage is invalid as kartiks wife is alive and its still not been 7 years ...because that is specifically why producers and directors chose 5 yearsof leap. Or if vedika turns negative then it can run smoothly.

Same. I am curious about how Liza and Akhil’s affair would tie in with Kartik questioning Naira. Kartik knows the gravity of his question, he’s just not ready to accept his mistake right now because for him Naira’s mistake undid his. Maybe the affair would be a reality check for Kartik and Goenkas who aren’t even acknowledging Kartik’s question.

No comments about the marriage. Doesn’t seem like makers are planning to declare it as illegal, not any time soon anyways.

honestly vedika blows my mind... i caught a scene few days ago where she tells naira not to be sympathetic towards her or something... i was like are you for real... for the past 4-5 years you have been gaining sympathy from everyone by being in love with a man who clearly still loves his dead wife and she still went ahead with the marriage very well knowing he will never move on... so what he said he wants to move on, first get him to prove himself that he will move on before you jump into bed with him... i dont understand who writes these dialogues.. they make me laugh when i guess they dialogues are supposed to be serious lol... i dont get why she tries to throw so much weight around naira... and have you guys noticed how they made vedika this traditional bahu with the sindoor and mangalsutra and the whole wearing sarees, where naira was more modern... and of course dadi loves vedika because she has no voice.. its all ji dadi *eyeroll*

Vedika is the puppet voiceless bahu she always wanted. She knows karthik would never listen to vedika over her the way he did with his beloved wife naira so dadi struck gold with vedika. 🤣

I'm wondering though, what was even the purpose of showing akhil getting to know naira is alive and has a son and keeping quiet about it instead of telling everyone and stopping the marriage, if they aren't going to show the family finding out about this fact?

I can’t even enjoy Kaira scenes anymore because there’s always this feeling that Kartik is married to someone else now. It just seems wrong for them to be dreaming about each other or coming close. It’s considered cheating in real world.

Kartik needs to make a decision ASAP. He just can’t expect to play husband to Vedika and tag Naira along with him as his sidey.

Technically, if Kartik-Naira are no longer married (and that’s how it’s being portrayed in the show), they have no rights over each other. They are exes who share a kid, so he can’t just force her to stay with him for the kid.

i hope naira voices out properly that kairav cannot stay here because you have another wife.. she needs to be straight and not beat around the bush about why kairav cannot stay there... and tell kartik to go be with his other wife and give dadi her damn parpota out of that woman because clearly dadi loves her more

liza and akhils affair will also be nairas fault somehow... not sure how but dadi will make that nairas fault lol... maybe by saying naira wanted to keep an eye on the family so sent her protege to lure akhil in

I hope Akhil gets arrested on charges of infidelity (don’t know if there are any legal implications of cheating) and assisting in bigamy.

Kartik needs to confront him as well for keeping such a huge secret and allowing the marriage to happen.

I really like Liza. Maybe Naira and Liza should team up against the selfish Goenka men. Kartik goes around being the biggest feminist but he needs a reminder that dancing with two women and playing with their emotions isn’t feminism.

@bold: in the hospital his guilt was a lot less because everyone saw naira... if anything his guilt should have been ten fold at that point.. like hello you just came from kartiks second marriage despite knowing his first wife is hale and hearty with his kid... so not sure how his guilt was lessened

i hope MK comes back too... and naira for once realizes she needs to get her life together and have a secure future for kairav because thats the only way she will get to keep him legally.. although we know kairav wont be able to stay without his mom... really hope kartik understands that one day kairav will hate him if he separates naira and kairav, just like kartik hated his father and step mother... oh jeez just realized they seem to have come a full circle with the whole soumya, mainsh, swarna and now naira, kartik, vedika nonsense..

Yup agree with everything you said especially the part about Kartik being a great manipulator. You know the worst was when he made Naira feel guilty for not hearing him out when she learnt his sister was the cause of her mother’s death. Also during the last leap where Naira apologised when she was barely at fault compared to him. Everything always has to be about him. His love, his pain, his hatred.

I was Team Kartik in this track till the time he introduced Vedika as his present wife to Naira minutes before their son was going for an open-heart surgery. Even in that moment, hurting Naira was apparently more important to him than asking her if something had happened to Kairav.

Going back to my original post, I still sympathise with Kartik because he didn’t deserve the life he lived for 5 years but if he continues acting on his heightened emotions, I would lose any liking I have for him.

Exactly! Naira had her reasonings, but wouldn't everybody find it shady as to why akhil would need to hide such a thing?
