“Kaisi maa ho tum” - Kartik to Naira.

In today’s episode, Kartik asked Naira what kind of a mother is she for separating her son from his father. He didn’t question her upbringing, rather how she gave preference to her anger and resentment against Kartik over what their kid wanted. Isn’t that what most of us have been saying since the track started?

Kartik merely voiced it out. Naira is a terrible mother to have prioritised her feelings, her ego over her child who kept asking for his father.

How is Kartik wrong here? This is what he saw from the moment he talked to Kairav:

- A small child randomly called him. He was looking for his father and believed that an angel had somehow connected him to his father.

- The child kept talking to a “stranger” and the mother wasn’t aware

- The child ran away from his house to meet the said “stranger”. His mother had no idea about his whereabouts. He could have been kidnapped.

- When he reached home, the house was unlocked because according to the mother, they don’t have enough in their house for any kind of robbery. Emphasis on the fact that the child brought a complete stranger to his house, spent an entire afternoon with him while the mother was no where present

- He again came to meet the child. The child was with Liza, the mother’s friend but the mother was absent, again. He waited for her but she never showed up.

- He went to pick the child from school. The mother didn’t show up, instead asked the stranger to take him home.

- In Udaipur, the child sat in a stranger kid’s car and came to his house. Spent an entire afternoon there but the mother still didn’t come.

All these instances proved how Naira is a bad mother. Kartik has even voiced it out several times. He has witnessed how Naira couldn’t properly provide for his needs or even keep him safe. He’s seen how desperate Kairav was for his father and how Naira had fed him lies all these years.

If they head for a custody track, Kartik would have a very strong case against Naira. To begin with, Naira has faked her identity and could even be arrested for it.

I don’t think Kartik was wrong today. He won’t be wrong tomorrow if he wants to fight for Kairav. Let’s see how the track unfolds. As of now I don’t think they would show custody drama because as was seen in today’s episode, both would prioritise Kairav and his health over their issues. Probably Kairav would want Kaira to stay together and they would fake being happy in his presence.

Goenka's are known as a wealthy and rich family. When Naira was assumed dead that must have made news as press is always following this families every move. Now that Naira is shown alive I am hoping the press come in front of Goenka's and Naira and start overwhelming her with questions. "Why did you fake your death? Where were you from 5 years? Did you know Karthik was getting remarried." I want her to be embarrassed in front of both families and the press to wake her up and make her grow up and get some maturity. It would be nice to see her on every tv screen having the press harass her.

@Rose, she needs a reality check. Unfortunately, Kartik won’t give it to her because his anger would take over his mind.

The family might give it to her, but I highly doubt it. They would probably start chanting her praises as well after they learn that she ran away because Kartik questioned her fidelity.

Knowing Dadi, she would want to hold a grand reception for Kairav, so it is quite possible that they would show a scene where Naira and family would be embarrassed in front of the media and society for the decisions taken by Naira.

I also think what Kartik said was true...what was the innocent child's fault?...Kartik would truly have a very strong case against Naira...writers wrote in a way that if needed custody case can also be possible...as Kartik has too many valid points against Naira...but tbh....they won't show Kartik trying to embarass Naira infront of their families in court...also if Kartik will use Naira faking death and her carelessness as a point...than Naira can also reveal about accusation and conversation she heard which made her believe that he accuse her of infidelity even after her death...which means further mockery of Kaira's relationship...

I doubt Naira will ever become mature and Karthik will always be possessive and control freak. That is not going to change otherwise future tracks would be dull. The show keeps getting extended because it banks on their stupid decisions.

They may come together and pretend to be united for Kairav's sake but it maybe for appearances only. Eventually they start seeing good in each other and the love comes back and they become a real family. That is what I am thinking will happen in the long run.

@bold I think CVs are trying to make everyone react against Naira...the way they did during baby swap track...Kartik was pushed by Naksh...they gathered sympathy for Kartik...this time they are trying to gather sympathy for Naira...as BM didn't ask her "why you ran away?" or tried to hear her side of story...before slapping her...Kartik atleast tried to figure out...what must have happened with her...

@CaptiveFreedom, yes they are doing exactly that because Naira has been criticized a lot post leap. I am sure now Kartik and the family would be shown isolating her, maybe even trying to take Kairav's custody, just to show her fight back and rebuild the image of an independent woman.

In all this, idk how they would show Kaira getting back together and being happy. Naira said in yesterday's episode that she would never be able to forgive Kartik for what he did. If she can't forgive him after distancing herself from him for 5 years, for making him suffer to this extent, then how would they ever move on from the past?

She ran away for the sake of her self-respect. Didn't tell Kartik about his son for her self-respect. What more would Kartik do now for her to finally forgive him? Or would they just bury the hatchet for Kairav's sake but never go back to what they used to be?

I know its useless to expect anything but I hope for once they show Kaira dealing with their problems on their own, rather than using Vedika to either prolong the separation or make them realize that they are it for each other despite their history.

What she said is she may not forgive Kartik for accusing her but she herself did far worse than what he did...didn't she forgive Kartik for accusing her after a while and decided to go back for baby?...not merely decided but she also returned to witness his and Mihir's conversation...writers are too inconsistent....either show her not being able to return because of accusation as she hasn't yet forgiven him or show she didn't reture because of paternity question and accusation both....also she uttered something like maa sey woh sawal na karna jo biwi sey kiya...wife can tolerate but mother can't...was there any relevance between what Kartik told her and what she replied?...are writers taking drugs while writing? Well Kartik had his punishment for 5 years...will have more than enough of it when entire family will get to know about his accusation...now its time for Naira's punishment...seemingly writers are clear that Naira was more at fault...as she herself accepted that she was more at fault and somewhere she is aware how he behaves when he feels betrayed...she has witnessed that roop so many times...

? If a man has a doubt about his wife does he have no right to ask her about it? I don't get why Naira thinks she is justified in running away and pretending to be dead. She could have gone to her maternal home instead. If a spouse has a doubt isn't it better to communicate that and clear misunderstandings? Why did she over react like that? That is not normal. I doubt most women would react the way she did. He didn't commit a crime. When you love someone dearly and have a doubt that they are not loyal to you then they have a right to ask this question. I don't get why since last 5 years she is hung up on that question. She says one thing but then her emotions tell another story. If she is angry why in the hell is she crying all the time? Why is she upset by Karthik's remarriage when she chose to leave on her own? Why does she look lost in his eyes? This is what makes me angry. She is acting like she has a right to come back after 5 years and act like nothing ever happened. Karthik has the right to remarry. She deserted him and let him believe she died. Can't he move on in life? If a woman dies is it expected that the spouse is to sit and mourn the rest of their life. Can't a guy have a second chance at life and remarry? For me her way of thinking is idiotic. She could have avoided this mess my standing her ground and saying no I didn't cheat on you in fact I am pregnant with your child. Seriously her whole premise for leaving is flawed.

In this case for me the fault is in Naira's reaction to Karthik's question. Had she felt he was cheating on her she would have asked the same thing.

I think we must remember that karthik did not accuse her...he did not say ,.you are having an affair with mihir...that’s an accusation..where you’ve already judged the person as being guilty. But he questioned her ..and before he did that he told her that she is everything to him and that they can move past it...And the both of them havent yet talked about how much pressure Mitali put on him . So I think when the time eventually comes he will explain to her about all his insecurities, and beg her forgiveness and she’ll do the same ..and they’ll be happy again,..And it would be one more issue in their relationship that they survived,. but I really hope that they do write some character growth and maturity into both karthik and nairas characters..they are parents now. I hope they bring about some change in them,...naira becoming less impulsive, And karthik less controlling etc..
