There would have been no sympathy

Since the leap happened karthik is the character who has been at the centre of everyone’s sympathy, whether that be by the audience or the characters because to the character’s knowledge karthik lost his love and wife without no fault, and to audience knowledge karthik is mourning the death of his wife who is alive but letting him believe she’s dead.

However, what I find interesting is that where everyone including naira’s family are mourning her death and showing so much sympathy for karthik, karthik has hidden from everyone the circumstance within which naira left the house and got into the accident.

If karthik had told everyone the truth whilst they all thought naira was dead, I’m sure all the characters, but mostly naira’s family would have hated karthik and have held him responsible for naira’s death rather than feel bad for him.

But I find it interesting that karthik has kept it hidden and seemingly was never intending on telling anyone he was at fault in naira’s death. It’s like he wanted to at least lap up everyone’s attention. 😂

We can all agree that naira letting everyone believe she is dead and hiding Kairav was a bigger mistake than what karthik did, but isn’t it also the case that if the audience were also made to think naira died in the accident, we would also blame karthik although we would still have some sympathy for him because he would be distraught over naira’s death and would regret questioning her, but if karthik told both family’s the truth, nobody would understand him or feel sorry for him but instead would resent and hate him?

It just slightly has been rubbing me the wrong way that karthik post everyone believing naira to be dead kept his own fault hidden when it is the right of her family to know how her death happened.

It’s most likely karthik’s good luck that naira didn’t die in the accident else if the family got to know the truth behind her death, he would have been a goner and naksh would have pulverised him, as any family in singhania’s position would not have spared their son in law under such a circumstance, and justifiably so.

Karthik is low key evil as he has become a bechara and everyone’s ankhon-ka-tara in both family’s eyes by not telling anyone he had a hand in their laadli’s death. Tut tut karthik. 😏😂

Yes Karthik's bechara mode is annoying me..he is the reason Naira left home..soon the families should know his truth.. don't know why he hid the truth from everyone..such a coward ..

Yes, it's so easy to paint NAIRA the "irresponsible, buri Maa" right now...even the vengeful, insensitive, dhokebaaz wife...but if Kartik's "secret" were to come out in the open, I doubt the Singhanias would be as kind as they're acting right now.

Waat laga denge uski. Aur hona bhi yehi chahiye. If Naira's getting slapped around tomorrow, and if things are going to take an ugly turn, then it's just fitting that all secrets must be outed, Kartik's role in Naira running away like that must be there for all to see and speculate.

Just because Naira looks like an absolute devil right now does not in any way exempt Kartik from taking full responsibility for what he did.

And honestly, this is the 21st century. If the makers have ANY sense at all, they will not go the stupid custody track and try and establish "how a buri Maa" is at the root of all unrest in the family and kids' botched-up lives. They really shouldn't undermine women like that. If at all, there should be a conversation around how Kartik too is responsible...for the way he treats his spouse...for the immaturity that makes him think he's holier-than-thou because accidentally, he's on a surer footing now than his wife is.

And all said and done, I really, really want Singhanias to understand and stand by NAIRA. She's family, after all and though she has committed a blunder, her situation too needs understanding in a new light.

Kartik's karnames too should come out. I read somewhere Naira won't speak out the truth cz she doesn't want Kartik to be embarrassed.

At least karthik should speak up and stop hiding things. Like if naira's mistake is hiding things and not being honest, karthik has shown that he is capable of the same. Naira in no way is justified in hiding from her own family and letting them suffer if she was mad at karthik, hence I think bhabhimaa and the family is justified for bursting at her, but it also doesn't change the fact that karthik has been hiding the fact that naira left the house because he questioned her loyalty towards him under influence of mihir's girlfriend and kept it hidden even when he and everyone thought naira was dead and was lapping up everyone's sympathy in the meantime when most likely everyone would have been livid at him and blamed him for naira's death the way he was blaming himself. What is even the deal with that? Why is he hiding it? Guilt/ shame of admitting it to both his and naira's family? LOL naira is hiding the truth of her being alive, and karthik is hiding the truth of him being responsible for naira's accident even when especially naira's family have the right to know how their daughter died. And now I feel karthik for some reason will still not tell anybody why naira stayed away and everyone will be on his side, whereas in actual both should get an earful from both families for a lack of honesty and making foolish mistakes that cause the two of them as well as their families to always suffer. Naira deserved a slap for her deceit, and karthik deserves one for lack of honesty too from naira's family. In a way karthik himself is cheating naira's family by not giving them full details about their daughter's accident/ death reason.

If even in front of audience naira was considered dead, karthik would look far worse in front of the audience for hiding his hand in naira's death from both families for all these years, but because we know naira is alive, we are also overlooking this fact and only sympathising with him. He would have had my full sympathy if he has also been honest and given full disclosure to both families over naira's death because he really felt that much shame and guilt for suspecting that naira could cheat on him with another man, yet because he is being sneaky and hiding his own faults he isn't getting my full sympathy.

In all honesty it only occurred to me today how karthik is acting immorally for not telling the family about how naira left the house and died because of him and that the family would have hated him if they got to know this truth before finding out naira was alive, otherwise till today I was also cursing naira's selfishness and stupidity, but realised that both are almost all on the same level of dishonesty with their families. Neither of the families know the entire picture thanks to kaira's being selfish and dishonest.

Oh my god! I agree with you so much. I thought no one would want to hear about this. Also, look at the writers. During the separation track due to Shubham's death, (as far as I am concerned), Kartik was at fault, not Naira. She was punished for no reason of hers and he kept tormenting/torturing her along with Suwarna and everyone felt bad for Naira. But when the time came for them to get together, the writers made it as if both of them were at fault.

But now, both of them are definitely at fault. But they are portraying Kartik as such a bechara and no one in the family even know about the reason why she felt. They easily got Naira to realise her mistake and apologise for it (which is not bad), but the problem is after Kartik realised Naira was alive all this time and didn't come back, he very conveniently forgot what drove her away in the first place. Yes even I felt apprehensive at making this post as I felt everyone was too mad at naira's behaviour to keep naira's feigning death act aside to think about how to karthik's and family's knowledge naira is dead because of karthik questioning her loyalty yet karthik has denied to be honest with both families about how she died, and how this in itself is a big deception on karthik's part if we don't mix this up with naira pretending to remain dead in front of karthik and family. If naira did die, or family got to know about naira's death reason before knowing she was actually alive then karthik would actually be in so much shit.

Karthik questioning naira was a personal husband and wife issue... generally men and women don’t go around telling everyone that they were jealous of their spouses colleague or friend and even questioned them regarding an affair. That is a Very private issue. And karthik questioned naira but he did not tell her to drive her car down that dangerous road or run away from him for 5 years ...so I think we have to cut him some slack here. He was not responsible for her death. If the roles were reversed here ..and karthik was spending lots of time with a female colleague ..maybe naira would have questioned him too..And tbh ..trust and jealousy issues come up in almost all marriages at some stage..where a spouse will get jealous of someone the other spouse worked with or spent time with...even though there was no cheating or affair. but back to the show ,..now that the family are involved karthik should tell them that naira was upset with him and the circumstances surrounding her leaving,.. He must do that..and I think he will.. He should say he was partly responsible for her leaving ..but truth of the matter is that what he did no where justified naira keeping kairav away from him and hurting her whole family by letting them believe she was dead. Her father and brother did not deserve the pain they must have felt at her death. So naira was very wrong..

But no family who lost their daughter would have seen it that way. The simple fact is that a girls' family would have only focused on is how could their son-in-law question their daughter like that (naturally any family would feel outrage at this) but on top of it he hid from the family that this is the reason she left the house that day. It doesn't matter if it's a private issue because if you leave aside the fact that we as an audience know naira is alive and let everyone think she is dead, karthik did in fact hide that naira died because he questioned her loyalty towards him, she was hurt by this and left the house and got into an accident and died. As her husband he doesn't have soul rights on her to know what's goin on in her life, so does her own family too. This would have been a cause of the family blaming him and lashing out at him naturally if they found out about karthik questioning naira. I imagine in real life too any of us would be outraged if we found out that the husband of our daughter or sister accused her of adultery. The anger would have been even more given the death angle.

It also wouldn't matter to the family that karthik didn't tell naira to leave the house or drive on that dangerous road (naira didn't know beforehand about that road being dangerous anyways) so this is not really an important detail, obviously if your partner does something to upset you and you have a fight with your partner, you would maintain a little difference from them for a breather like get out of the house for a bit. My dad and aunty have both pulled this kind of shit when being mad at their partners.

It doesn't matter whether it is a private husband and wife issue, because their daughter died to their knowledge and karthik didn't tell them why she left the house in the first place, which is their right to know after thinking she is dead. Getting your child married doesn't automatically make you lose the right to know about the big events and problems that occur in your child's life.

I've already said that naira is at fault for what she has done for punishing her family when she was upset with karthik, but karthik is wrong in not telling anybody why naira left the house. Why don't they have a right to know?

It seems according to spoiler naira won't tell anybody about why she left, and I have a feeling writer's will show karhtik not telling simply for drama factor unless writer's decide to surprise us. Either way this is the worst and most ridiculous track of the show till date.
