I think you both are right- Naira certainly has growing up to do- at heart she is a naive, straightforward honest girl who has seen hard life besides luxury- so she knows how difficult it is for those who struggle to get their opinion heard and that is all she is trying to do, get her view heard; and is continuously stopped by a dismissive, impatient husband ; so , it is not surprising she loses her cool. But she could have handled Rukumini matter more delicately keeping in mind the event taking place, she perhaps could have given the cold shoulder to Kartik which he deserves and walked off to talk to Rukmini instead of standing there to prove her point to a group that is insensitive to all else but their own issues.
