I want it as karthik being emotionally blackmailed into divorcing naira by swarna, naira with a heavy-heart signs the papers for two reasons; one because she doesn't want to cause more grief to swarna whilst taking karrthik out of the dilemma of having to choose between her and his mother, and the second reason being she thinks karthik no longer loves her. After that, when swarna thinks karthik has divorced naira on her saying, she thinks he won't disagree to her other order of his remarriage, so she asks him, but karthik drops a bomb on swarna by saying that for the past two years he kept all her wishes in mind and even divorced naira as per her wish, but now he asks her to pay heed to his request now, as he decides that he will never remarry. Swarna is shocked and tries to convince him to change his decision, but karthik in turn makes swarna emotional by saying that in these two years he never objected to her decisions, and pleads with her to now listen to and respect his decision. The goenka's are hell pissed at swarna, especially dadi, who blasts swarna for her selfishness that she can't see karthik's pain, but swarna is still stubborn and says that karthik no longer loves naira and hates her as much as she hates naira, which is why he didn't refuse her request to divorce naira, as she claims that if karthik still loved naira, he would have also refused the divorce. Dadi slams swarna by saying that she has become blind in her love for shubham and anger for naira that she is only seeing and believing what she wants to, and at this dadi also severs relationships with swarna for ruining karthik's life, even going as far as to tag her as nothing more than karthik's step-mother as she is ruining karhtik's life just because of her love for her real son.

On the other side, naithik falls ill and is taken to the hospital. When he gets better, in the hospital he says the only way he will be better is if he sees naira move on and happy, and asks her to remarry. Naira at first tries to reason with naithik, but naithik who is incredibly mad at karthik and swarna, is beyond reason, plus naira is concerned for his health to be able to refuse him, whilst devyani also pushes naira to agree, and eventually she does.

On the other hand, as all the singhania's get to know about naira agreeing for remarriage, keerti goes to goenka's and screams at karthik and swarna for their poor treatment of naira, and announces that from now on she has no mother called swarna goenka or brother called karthik, and has a sister called naira, whose happiness she will think about from now. With that she also tells swarna and karthik that she will personally look for a boy who is far better than karthik and will love and respect naira more than him, as well as a family who will appreciate and respect her. Karthik is shocked and hurt by this, as well as swarna upon hearing keerti break relations with her and karthik, but when keerti leaves, swarna convinces karthik again that if keerti is planning on getting naira remarried, then even he should think about it, but karthik reminds her he has promised himself not to remarry.

I want things to happen like this. No more of the typical girl cries as the boy agrees to remarry track. They ruined NK with the same track in may this year, and so many serials have shown this track. Instead they should show the female lead remarrying. it would be far too predictable if they went for karthik remarriage and brought in a girl for her. These tracks are horrible. I want the male lead to suffer, considering how he did not stand up for naira or show objection when she was thrown out, and he ultimately failed her.

good point; how can anyone other than the couple themselves who can think about divorce- not even in India where mothers might be on a pedestal [that too is doubtful these days] would such a thing occur. Unless of course Suvarna is practising witchcraft on Kartik- he has a brain I hope. Also, it is completely out of sync with the YRKKH approach to life, living, relationships to show so much bitterness in the extended family- so maybe Suvarna will come to her senses and realise she had a bigger hand in Shubham's tragic outcome by distancing him when he was a kid.
