As a mother we are responsible for their physical, mental, emotional and social well-being. We bring our children up in the best way possible so that when they grow up they start to value relationships and life. Unfortunately, Suwarna has failed to become a great mother, she is indeed selfish. She's responsible for leaving Shubham to her brother just for Kartik. Now her love starts to appear when Shubham is with the family.
If your children is going through a stage of depression where they are taking drugs, then its the mother's duty to guide her children on the right path. What has she done? First she tells Naira to reunite Kartik and Manish, then she tells her to reform Shubham. I mean, you can't put your responsibility and give it to someone else. Naira had a lot of things to do, and to handle Shubham is more of a parent's job.Suwarna is selfish enough to get her gains, she wants other's to do her job whilst she sits and prays. Naira wasn't and still isn't at fault, the fault belongs to Suwarna who failed to even protect her son.
Yes! It also wasn't like that naira was planning on not telling them about his addiction and let him keep taking them. Shubham after begging her had convinced her he was going to tell them himself and told her when he will, but things didn't turn out that way, which naira couldn't have predicted, plus she only knew he was taking drugs but not what he was taking and the extent to his addiction considering she isn't a doctor, but when shubham died and even till date, swarna and neither karthik bothered to ask her for her side of the story or allow her to put forth her own justification ans they just assumed that she knew and was hiding it from them and not going to tell them, and was going to just let shubham take drugs. Swarna constantly at every point shrugged off responsibilities towards uniting manish-karthik on naira, handling shubham, as well as much earlier shrugging off responsibilities of shubham on to her brother and then blames circumstances and now naira. She also blamed naira when karthik decided to leave the house after marriage to live separately with naira just like the rest of the goneka's had. Swarna quite easily forgets her mistakes and responsibilities and hands everything over to naira.
