The step-mother stigma

In the process of trying to remove this step-mother tag from herself and be just a mother to karthik-keerti, hasn't she given step-mother treatment to her own?

Yeah sure, she has also done it because she thought manish wouldn't be able to devote all his love to just karthik and keerti and it would be injustice to them, so what she's doing to her own son is justice? 😡

Swarna is no mother. She's a devi... that too the balidaan type, because mother's don't differentiate between children or decide who deserves more love, but a mother learns how to share her love between her children. I'm not buying this mahaan maa act of swarna's and this is by far one of the worst tracks I have seen in this show till date. Although I disagree with what aryan did, I imagine anybody who finds out that their own mother ditched them upon their birth and made their own child dead in front of the world for another child would be furious and probably hold a grudge naturally for the other child.

And like sammy said - if a person found out that his own mother had given him up like that, even refused to acknowledge his existence, he would get worked up. Yes, his actions against Kartik were wrong, though I can understand where that anger is coming from. Suwarna's justification, on the other hand, feels hollow.
