Chapter 2
Naksh and Naitik entered the hospital.
"Can you please tell me in which room is Naira Singhania in", Naksh asked the receptionist.
"I am sorry sir, but iss naam ki koyi patient admit nahi hai iss hospital mein.
"Lekin papa Karthik ne issi hospital ka naam batiya", Naksh told his father.
"Please check again, are you sure Naira naam ki koyi patient admit nahi hui", Naitik asked the receptionist
"Yes, ek Naira hai but", the lady spoke
"Aap humein bata sakte hai woh kahan hai", Naitik asked cutting her out.
"Woh operation theater mein hai, straight and left", the receptionist replied
"Nurse meri princess kaisi hai", asked Naitik to the nurse coming out of the operation theater
"Dekho abhi operation chal raha hai hum kuch nahi sakte, please wait", the nurse replied
"Papa please tension mat lijiye, Naira ko kuch nahi hoga", Naksh said as he saw his father about to break down.
"I know meri princess ko kuch nahi hoga, uske hote hue toh kuch nahi hoga", Naitik calmed himself down mentally and told his son
"Kiss ke hote hue", Naksh asked confused
"Agar woh bhagwan hai toh meri princess ko kuch nahi hoga", Naitik replied fumbling a bit over his words.
"Waise papa Karthik kaha hai, uss ne call kar ke buliya tha", asked Naksh
Just then rest of the Singhania family and Maheshwari family also with them since Akshara was at her mayika when she got the news and then called Singhania's and informed them.
"Naira kaisi hai", bhabhima asked
"Operation chal raha hai badi dadi", replied Naksh
"Doctor's kuch jawab nahi de rahe", Naitik added
"Meri Naira ko kuch nahi hoga", Akshara spoke trying to assure herself more than the other's
"Bff Naira Di ko sherni khete hai, wo bahut strong hai, fighter hai unhe kuch nahi hoga", Mishti spoke
"Haan humari Naira bitya bilkul thik ho jayegi", Rajshri assured.
"Mere bff kaha hai, taaiji ne kaha unka call aiya tha", Mishti spoke
"Haan main bhi Karthik ko dhund raha tha but kahi nazar nahi aiya", Naksh spoke
"Humein phone kiya aur yahan khud nahi hai, kahi usse bhi chot nahi lagi", asked devyani
"Nahi choti maa jab car ka accident hua uss mein sirf Naira thi", Akshara replied
There attention shifted from the topic as soon as another nurse came out of the room. And all went to ask her about Naira's condition to which she gave the same reply which she had given earlier.
"Nurse please ek minute suniya, jiss ne meri beti ko admit kiya woh ladka kaha hai", Akshara stopped the nurse as she was about to enter the operation theater again.
"Unke husband", the nurse asked
"Husband", many voices echoed at once.
"Haan, consent form mein unho ne wahi likha", the nurse replied and went in back
"Karthik, yeh Kyun likhe ga ke woh Naira ka pati hai", asked raj shekar confused
"Consent form ko sign kiye bina operation start nahi hota, iss liye ho sakta hai Karthik ne bol liya", Akshara spoke
"Lekin koyi aur relation bhi kahe sakta tha, sirf husband Kyun", questioned Naksh
"Kyun ke yeh saach hai", Naitik spoke but was cut off as soon as the operation theater lights went off and the doctor came out
"Operation toh successful that but we need to keep her under observation", the doctor spoke
"Toh ab humari Naira ko koyi khatra nahi hai", asked devyani
"She is not fully out of danger yet, there is still a bit of danger, ab ke liye hum shift kar rahe hai room mein.
The nurse and doctors rolled Naira's bed back, everyone got teary eyed seeing her state but got shocked as Karthik followed, he seemed as if in a trance and didn't seem to reply when his name was called.
"Naitik jab aap ne yeh kaha ke yeh sach hai apka matlab kya tha, Karthik aisa bartaw kuyn kar raha hai", Akshara asked knowing very well that there was something hidden from them.
"Karthik ne jo consent form mein likha woh sach hai, Naira Karthik pati patni hai", replied Naitik, shocking everyone there.
