I do understand her concern for gayu. And it would have been genuine and even interesting had they shown it once or twice, and later mellowed it down to where we could just say, okay fine, she's concerned, we get it. but to bring it up every freaking time is a tad bit too much. They need to stop overdoing this. Its getting irritating.

@Bold - Wow! Really? She doesn't seem anything like that right now. I guess for me as a viewer who just started watching the show regularly, this Rama Aunty that you talk about is someone that we have never met.

Sad ! I know with Indian soaps this happens often. I however fail to understand why they have to butcher sane characters in order to glorify the leads. That is the only reason I can come up with for her transition right now as I see it.

Yes. Rashmi (thats gayu's mother) was more of a daughter to rama aunty than daughter in law. They went shopping together, she was given complete freedom, and made so comfortable when newly married. Always said she was taking home a daughter and not a daughter in law. So much louuu.

She was the one who name parchayi after rashmi's then recently deceased mother (aksharas saas)

And when nikhil (gayu's biological dad) cheated on rashmi, she stood up against her own son and took rashmi's side, disowned nikhil and actually became rashmis mother!!

See.told you, not crazy at all. In fact very likeable and MIL goals i tell you. :)

Agree with you on that - indian shows often deviate and butcher the character sketch in name os track twists and lead drama that the character that we once liked seems like a new person all together.

The only silver lining here is this is a side character, i have seen so many shows go down the drain when that happens to the main lead.

You have absolutely nothing to be sorry of Mridz. In fact I am happy that you spoke about it in here otherwise I would have never known this part of Rama Aunty. I did get the bit where she disowned her own son and stood by Rashmi with her dialogue today though.

Haha we are rubbing off on you I guess. I can see you are using our preferred name for Gayatri instead 😆 Oh I liked Akshara's saas/ Rashmi's mom. I don't know how I missed the connection there. I wish she didn't have to leave the show though. She along with Rajshri were actually very likable mothers on TV during YRKKH initial days. I'm not ecstatic about parchayi being named after her though. Impossible aren't I ?😆

I have to agree with you on the silver lining thing. Thank God she's just the side character here. I have had way too much experience in coming to hate a show and the show makers for compltely ruining lead characters for TRP sake. I really hope that never happens here. *fingers crossed* I am way too fond of Kaira to have the heart to go through something like that being dished out to them. I have pretty high expectations from these CVs though. I like how they have always handled the show. Running for 7 years while managing to maintain continuous love from the viewers is no small feat. Please don't dissapoint us CVS! *fingers crossed*

Okay, so I just saw the episode and I want to start off my post saying:

Karthik flirting with Naira Khule Aam - mere bff jaise pretty Ho, and eelu eelu I love you - and that people is how it's done!! When you have got yourself an adorably nakchadi ladki like Naira, that's how you flirt with her without getting your ass whipped!!

The rest:

Best

1. Nairas concern for Karthik at the start

2. Naira making him her sabse special friend

3. Mishti - karthik

Blahs

1. Parchayi-daadi and Kaira poking their butt in the whole fiasco - I just fast forwarded all that!!!

2. Vivaans proposal - i just skipped that as well.

PS - I agree with andy - they need to tone down kanchi's makeup - it was so glaring today!!! Got reminded of the scene from wanted where she says just washed my face and applied little bit cream and he leans in and actually rubs make up off her face. Teehee. Of course the he here would be vivaan. :) dont want our karthik anywhere near parchayi lest she gets any more misunderstandings -but is that even possible?!!!

Recap : jungle, rain and fire scenes are relationship gold!! So far they have utlized both jungle and rain scenes well, just hope they do the same with fire too. :)

I know right? We have been super lucky with Rain and Jungle so far. I have high expectations with fire sequence as well. It just has to be good and as far as we have got to see in the segments, it looks GOLD too. *fingers crossed* Can't wait to watch tonight's episode Even the parchayi nonsense I can take if we get an epic Kaira moment.❤️

Yeah like you, I too am hoping for a magical first half with Kaira in fire though. So yeah looking forward to the episode😊 I just hope Parchayi doesn't make me wanna strangle myself for watching her 🤢 How anyone can be that dense is beyond me! She's infuriating man! -__-

Well the episode was as usual superb not whole coz of some unwanted drama bt surely the Kaira n our Mishtu part😉 The episode actually embarked a new phase in Kaira life.The beginning of a strong relationship frm friends to best friends forever😳 A relationship whose bond vl grow more and more stronger with each passing day n hopefully vl surely transform to love one day... Inshallah 😳

Ok starting off I loved the care dat Naira was having for Karthik.She unknowingly is started to care for him alot n even she don't realize the fact 😳 Karthik's presence n little things that happen with him do affect Naira too alot.😊 One minute when there was care ..thaaadan...second moment Naira became sherni again...She needed to take class of Karthik for wat all he said n Karthik bichaara was hell scared...I was like LMAO..he is a bheegi billi in front of Karthik 🤣 bt Naira gal wth u needed to skip the main part ...even Karthik had same thots😆 bt good dat she dint hear...vrna Karthik ki dhulai hoti achi wali Naira se🤣 Then came the best part Karthik ka promotion hogya...bichaara kya sapne dekh raha tha BF banunga pati banunga bt Janaab firse friendzone hogye...Friend se BFF.. lolzzz Karthik reaction was epic n on point🤣 Bt the assurance that Karthik gave to Naira that no matter wat he wud remain with her always...The promise that no matter wat obstacles occur together they vl overcome all 👍🏼

Then the scene when they r going back Karthik jst admiring Naira through the glasses...hayyyeee this guy is lost in her beauty n innocence😳 N then when he was about to go to buy flowers hw Naira thinking dat it was for her n smiling on the thot of it...bt madam ki khwahish hi toot gyi...her reaction when Karthik said it was for Mishtu nt for her...olleee she really was disappointed n when he says u buy any flowers bt it shud b as pretty as my BFF😳 Naira's smile on hearing it...hayyyeee...ladki ko bahut kuch hone laga h n fir Janaab lggye video dekhne me only to get shock he proposed her😆 bichaara himself myt b thinking real me bola nhi jaata...nashe me propose krdia😆 n dat expression on Karthik...all scared n fearful thinking Naira wud hv seen it...bichaara bs bachgya..myt b thanking God that she dint c it🤣 hayyyeee even I want to see when,where n how Karthik vl tell his dil ki baat to Naira...bolta ki bhi nhi pta nhi😆 hope he says after celebrating silver jubilee of his dreams🤣

Hayyyeee the next scene my Mishtu n her BFF patch up...can anything get cuter then these too Karthik on knees holding flowers n chocolates for his BFF n apologizing her for shouting at her n telling his mood at dat tym...n my Mishtu is so understanding she in an instant accepted his apology n forgive him...awww😳 I wish Parchaayi was as understanding n had brains like Mishtu..Khair leave it😎

Then Naira coming n wanting to talk to Karthik abt Parchaayi n her marriage drama🥱 Naira beta kya samaj sewa ki padi h tumhe Bt I loved how tensed Karthik was at first when he thot dat Chandu agn did some wrong...Loved his care towards Naira😳

Ahaannn Karthik getting it Rama daadi ilu ilu setting krne me lagu h Parchayi n Vivu ki...Naira looked so confused on dat ilu ilu🤣 Lo Bhai agn maardiya Karthik ne chance pe dance...Bol diya I luv u to Naira😳... koi mauka nhi chodtha hint Dena ka bt Naira dudeee...she can't even figure out a single one🤣
