Farewell to some important Faces ;( - Page 2

With the impending leap on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Directors Kut Productions) just round the corner, there will be new faces joining the Star Plus show. And apart from the new entries, there will be some exits too.

Yes, the loved characters of Anshu (Amann Sharma), Alok (Amit Dolawat) Muskaan (Zarina Roshan Khan) and Daddaji (Abhijeet Lahiri) will no longer be part of the show.

Amann who is just 18, would had to play double his age post the leap. Thus the actor and the makers mutually decided on him moving out of the show. As for Amit and Zarina, their characters would be shown shifting out post their marriage. Daddaji's character will be seen dead in the show and the family would come back for his barsi from Cape Town after 10 years as per the track post leap.

Talking on the exit, Amann shared, "It was a mutual decision between me and the production house. I wouldn't have been able to do justice to the character and as an actor I thought I should move out. The creatives also understood the point and we happily parted our ways. Currently my exams are going on and I am shooting whenever required. Post the show, I will definitely look out for other work. But yes, Yeh Rishta... has been a special one and everyone is like a family for me. I would terribly miss everyone and wish them all the best."

Amit on his part averred, "When the show was launched I did a six days cameo for it. And six years back, I was called for a six month role again. With the show known for wedding and celebration, my character was brought in to add more punch to it. With the makers playing around the love story of a young girl and older guy, they wanted a powerful actor and Rajan ji (Shahi) personally asked me to come back. The show has once again left my character with an open end, and I would always be around for them when they need me. There are some good offers around, and my Marathi film will also launch soon. Wish this wonderful team great luck ahead."

Abhijeet as reported by Tellychakkar.com moved out to be a part of the ongoing show Swarigini on Colors.

We could not reach Zarina but as sources inform she wanted to move out for greener pastures.

Also the young crops of actors Naksh (Shivansh Kotia), Ananya (Nairitya Chandola) and Yash (Mohit and Nandini's son) also have shot for their parts and bid goodbye to the team. The crew arranged for a farewell party for these actors yesterday.
