How important is money to you?
Money is very important to me.
Are you an impulsive buyer?
No, I wouldn't really call myself an impulsive buyer. But I am not stingy at the same time. I just believe in weighing my options and thinking at least twice before indulging in any purchase.
What are the investments that you have made?
I have made investments in property. I think property is the best buy.
What has been your most expensive purchase?
I brought a diamond ring which has an ornate blue stone from the Neelam house for my 5th Wedding Anniversary. It is one of my most expensive purchases till date.
Do you feel financially secure?
Yes, I am financially secure. I have always planned my finances and made the right investments.
Who handles your expenses?
Before getting married, I was used to handling my own expenses but post marriage I have become a little laidback. Now, me and my husband both share responsibilities.
What was your first salary?
It was in back in Lucknow 15years ago. I worked for Doordarshan and received Rs.1000/- as my first pay.
How much money do you carry every day?
I am very dependent on plastic money since it is more convenient. I carry a mere amount of Rs. 100/- everyday and rely mostly on my cards.
Your advice to new investors?
Don't keep all your eggs in one basket and invest in different places and different sectors.
