YR has always been dear to me for more reasons than one. I dont know if it is best or not...dont want to get into that but what I dont see is the character growth. Gayatri oscillates between super sweet to chandalika as per the track. Akshara never opens her mouth...earlier she used to speak up in front of Naitik...now that is also not there😔

Just one example: Naitik sees Akshara and Shaurya together and assumes she is taking her brother's side!!!! What does Akshara have to say? As usual nothing...Naksh need their driver to clear the misunderstanding!! I was laughing when Naitik had that sorry face while listening to the driver. Does he trust his driver more than Akshara? Is that all he knows his wife? I was so disappointed to see Akshara's behaviour. Yes, I agree she is the most affected but then what does she do? Just sits and sulks all day. Pls yaar...couldnt she have told Naitik to keep her out of the fight he is having with Shaurya? Both mean a lot to her and he shouldnt be asking her to choose between either one because she is not doing to do that. The only person she can actually talk to is Naitik then why not tell him what she really feels? Instead she cries and tells him trust me, dadu has fever🤢 She is the only person who can actually change his mood by talking to him but the CVs are dead against showing us Naksh as a normal couple.

Having said that, the USP of this show has always been simplicity. That is what has touched the audience...sometimes I feel YR is resting on its past laurels. Yeh business track bhi tolerable hai lekin that Samar track was unbearable to watch.

You made a post with ALL my thoughts.

To me,I have stopped watching the show regularly. I am no longer a regular watcher of Yeh Rishta. This is because of several reasons.

1. As stated: The show lost its concept. The concept of 2009. The relationship of a husband and wife through arranged marriages. It was so close to reality and Akshara before marriage and initial days of marriage was good. Ta Da, after that they turned it into crap with MIL and Dj and pallu and then, SIL marriages and marriages/wedding continued.GOD that was crap. Nandini was tolerable but then after, they continued wedding season every year. This is how the concept began to have a downfall.

2.Editing is horrible,funny thing i dont watch their(naksh) scenes anymore AT ALL. This is because no1 puts it on Youtube and because its so repetitive. Nothing new, a hug or cheek kiss once in a while. Very annoying. Like CVs and PH are just trying anyhow to let the show run. Its seems to me they thought YRKKH would had ended every since and they run out of pre-planned stories.

3.Naksh. After the baby,they lost all their charm. SORRY, but said clear. They had none new scenes or nothing. And actually, as a husband and wife, they barely have a healthy relationship. Come on i might not know much, but still, they barely talk about issues around them or about their selves. Naitik is too busy and Akshara is busy with Duggu.

4.Screenplay. Yeah I do find the angling good. They do tend to put their ''trademark'' songs at the right time. No prob with this from my side.

5.I tend to always ask. If the show is close to reality, they why does Akshara not dress in a much simpler way. From her single days, she liked less makeup,no heavy jewelry and neither heavy clothes. Whats up with the sudden change. I am sorry, i love her sarees and her styling but isn't it too much?I find so.

And for Naitik, as a business man, no one dresses in such. Look at Shaurya, he wears suits/jackets. And all other serial actors who have businesses dress in a much more presentable manner. Remember the september scene when Akshara sent Naitik to Office for the first time, why can't he dress like that?

And one more point, SP shares their clothes way too much.

great post kamaudi i agree with all your points yrkkh started of with such a beautifull simple concept which won many viewers hearts for its simplicity, personally i think that in end 2011, 2012 yrkkh lost its charm and focus from the origional concept, they show family bonding way too much now, saas, bahu tiff's but the cv never show naksh as a couple longer then few seconds even after having a baby naksh got so much that they can explore in there relationship, they could made this business track naksh centered with naksh talking together, natik telling him all the problems, akshi trying to advice him both working together to come out of this mess,

i comp agree with you on the screenplay and editing its getting hopless day by day, i agree the character assination is poor they leave loop ends and dont tie it together properly and move on to the next track and the worst character of all is g3 cv make her change her shades so often gosh she wasnt like that at the begining of the serial i hope they think about all this,

dont talk about costumes or looks i have ranted on so many tyms about naksh looks and change of wadrobe and better clothes for natik in yrkkh magzine hoping cv will hear me out one day sigh 😆

now days i watch yrkkh as a habit as i have been seeing it for pass 3 and a half yrs i am no more excited as i used to be to jump to my tv screens, naksh scenes no longer intrest me there the same old hug or cheek kiss i rem ppl saying that saba mumtaz is back naksh scenes will return but looks like she joined hands with dimri to show pako family toture instead i no longer bother catching up on an epi if i missed it sigh i want my old yrkkh back with great naksh centric track and scenes plus family story too where has that charm been lost now

only my opinion i love yrkkh i wasnt bashing 😃

ab kai log jo pehle naksh fans they dont watch show now and have become fans of other couple...its really sad but its not fault of them...its all bec of yrkkh only...i feel bad to say yrkkh as well as naksh scenes have lost its previous charm😭

i dont understand why still i watch this show...may be a little hope of 0.0001 is still there within me which further is getting decreased day by day and i hope it vanishes soon or may be it has become habit 😕

next week ill not able to watch YRkkh on tv and i dont think there will be anything worth in it for which i would watch on net later and after spoilers i m really happy that ill miss yr😃😆

if u randomly ask a youngster abt indian television jodis they would not count naksh in it and if u say naksh they will say who akshara bahu and his husband and laugh it off ... their reaction must had been entirely different if asked in in 2009...whenever we talk abt kahani ghar ghar ki parvati comes in mind...in yeh rishta case akshara bahu comes in mind for most people...bec what is yeh rishta now truly is😡

as the story line is going i dont think any award show will nominate naksh in fav jodis or naksh would be called fav jodis of television as they have completely vanished couple story ...in my class or i think college also hardly any one watch yeh rishta or even know wht naksh is...they only know abt akshara bahu bec their mom watch it😆

i m sorry,i know its difficlt to believe as feel very bad reading these stuffs or writing this too ...but cvs have not left anything to ruin naksh🤢

actually in the beginning yr 2009/2010 ppl knew who naksh were they had reasonable amounts of fans but then cv started slowly sidelining naksh scenes and naksh and fans decreased and like you said less youth watch yrkkh now whenever my aunty's daughters sisters are having discussions on there fav couples i put naksh forward the youngsters know who naksh are but dont see they are like its mama serial type where saas always taunts akshara, i dont blame them nowdays cv dont even show proper naksh scenes just a hug and cheek kiss i dont look forward to naksh scenes anymore but still yrkkh is my habit and i am addiced to it wont stop seeing but seriously cv need to bring back naksh scenes and the old essence instead of same old scenes and plz guys motivate me again to look forward to new naksh scenes that we get

Exactly its not that they dont like Naksh u know all my friends are inteligent they come to know abt the full epi wt happen and if something i mean if any naksh scene is worth watching they'l see online as they dont wanna see pako family bt Naksh so fans havnt reduced but they hv no point to defend their fav
