Lata and Sanjiv seth...!

Lata Saberwal Seth and Sanjeev Seth (who play parents of Akshara played by Hina Khan) fell in love on the sets of Director's Kut's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) and got into marital bliss. And now they get their first opportunity to play husband and wife on the big screen, and that is in the movie that gets released today (15 June 2012), Qasam Se Qasam Se.

Says Lata, "We play the heroine's parents, who are caught in an in-between situation where they cannot stop their kids from doing certain things, as they love them. For a change, we will not be seen wearing Marwari costumes. We play a Punjabi couple, and I get to wear salwars. In fact, Sanjeev got the role initially, and the makers asked Sanjeev if I could play his wife's role. The role was not very substantial, but then as I said we always look forward to working together, and I agreed."

On shooting with husband Sanjeev, Lata goes on to say, "This is the first time we act together in a movie. Being together is always a pleasure, and when we work together we have that comfort level. We are so much used to working together in Yeh Rishta that we will surely want to do another TV show together (smiles)."

The movie Qasam Se Qasam Se stars new comers Azim Rizvi and Rakhi Sawant as leads.
