Last week (week 33 of TAM), it was surprising to see Zee TV topping the TRP charts with 283 GRP. However, this week, it is in the number three position with 237 GRP.

While Star Plus, that had lost its number one position last week, is back to the number one position with a 264 GRP, Colors has climbed the ladder with a 258 GRP that puts it in the number two position.

While SAB TV regained its number four position with 126 GRP, Life OK dropped to the fifth position with 125 GRP. SAB TV and Life OK share a difference of just one point hence a lot can change for these GECs in the coming weeks. Lastly, Sahara One has managed to get 37 GRP that is two points more than the number it got last week.

As far as the shows are concerned, Diya Aur Baati Hum seems to be breaking its own record with every passing week. This week, the show has garnered a 6.7 TVR maintaining its topmost position. At number two, we have Balika Vadhu with a 4.8 TVR. On the other hand, Saath Nibhana Saathiya has got a 3.7 TVR compared to 3.2 TVR it garnered earlier.

The special one hour crossover episode of Diya Aur Baati Hum and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai managed to get a 6.6 TVR last week. CID got a 3.4, 3.8, 3.8 TVR on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Similarly, Crime Patrol got 3.8, 4.2, 3.8 TVR on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Ramayan, that went on-air two weeks ago, has bagged an average of 1.8 TVR. And on both DD National and Zee TV, it managed to garner 2.1 TVR.
This is a drop from its opening episode that was 2.7 and 2.9 TVR respectively.

Well 'it's Wednesday today and whether you like it or not'no one can ignore the ratings business, especially if you're in the television business. Hence, here are the TAM ratings of week 36. Zee TV has once again managed to reach the number one position with a 251 GRP repeating its feat of week 33. Star Plus is on number two position with a 250 GRP, while Sony Entertainment Television is number three with 244 GRP. Colors slumped in the rating race and found its place on number four (229 GRP). While on the other hand' Life OK, SAB TV and Sahara One are number five, six and seven channels respectively.

Coming to the shows' Diya Aur Baati Hum maintains its numero uno position with a 5.3 TVR and Balika Vadhu has again bagged the second slot with 5.1 TVR. Saath Nibhana Saathiya (3.8) and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (3.4) are on the third and fourth spots respectively. Whereas' Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah which was in the sixth position last week, managed to climb over Bade Achhe Lagte Hain with a 3.3 TVR. Consequently, Bade is on number six with 3.2 TVR.

When it comes to weekend programs, Kaun Banega Crorepati takes the limelight with 6.1, 5.3 TVR on Friday and Saturday respectively. The others in the top positions in the weekend band are Dance Ke Superkids, CID and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (see the rating below). Sur Kshetra that went on-air last week opened at a very low rating of 1.2 TVR for Colors while for Sahara One it was just 0.2.
