Akshara's baby proves lucky for the
show altogether!
We've seen how Akshara's baby
brought back all the luck to the
Singhanias. The Singhanias regained
their financial position and also got
the possession of their mansion as
Akshara's due date came nearing. All
the happiness of the Singhanias and
Maheshwaris aside, the entire team
of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are in
the celebration spirit for reasons
more than one! Recently the team
celebrated the completion of 800
episodes with a cake, there'll be
more cake with the welcoming of the
baby. But one reason why the
celebrations aren't stopping is that
the show leaped to the number 1
position on the TRP charts in the last
week of Akshara's pregnancy! The
show registered a TRP of 5.3 as
against 4.3 in the previous week,
leaving behind the ever-on-the -top
Saath Nibhana Saathiya closely
followed by Diya Aur Baati Hum.
Although Diya Aur Baati Hum has
been shuffling positions with Saath
Nibhana Saathiya for the number 1
slot, this huge leap by Yeh Rishta Kya
Kehlata Hai came as an unexpected
one. The cast and crews' joys know
no bounds and as is obvious, the
audience, too, is enjoying the phase.
As a part of the celebration, the team
decided to involve their audiences to
decide upon the name of the baby
boy. We hear the names are pouring
in huge numbers via SMSes and the
team is having a tough time picking
one! The winner gets to come on TV
and join the celebrations at the
naming ceremony of the baby that
airs on February 18 in a
Mahaepisode. What better way to
celebrate the success!
