Akshara's Column: A supportive family can survive

Hi friends. The support of our family is required when we do anything that is important in our life. It isnecessary to have the blessings and consent of all the members of the family as this gives us mental strength. And when we have a supportive family during trying times, it helps us get through all the odds.

I am so glad that finally all my family members gave me the consent to work with Naitik and now they are supporting and encouraging me to do the jewellery designs. It is always nice to be given the opportunity by my family and to receive their support. Even though this is the first time that I will be doing something like this, with Naitik and the entire family supporting me, I am sure that I will be able to do a good job.

Gayatri ma and Bhabhimaa gave me advice for the designs and this boosted my confidence. All of us worked day and night to finish the designs. Gayatri ma and Bhabhimaa saw that we ate properly, so that we had our strength.They even sat throughout the night, and helped us in doing the designs. Because of them we even got a few hours of rest and managed to complete everything on time.

Gayatri ma accidentally spilled tea on the desings. This caused panic for a while and she got very upset about this. But we all sat togetherand re-did it in half an hour. I believe that when a family sits together and does a task, the bond between them grows stronger. Also when there are many members to work on a task, it will get done faster undoubtedly. When a family does something together, there are better solutions and it is done with alot of emotion. The entire family has worked hard for this project and we are positive this hard work will pay off.

Friends do share your views on how we can have more activities in our routine life that encourage family bonding.
