When will Akshara Rebel?

I have not seen the show itself too much but have read the updates here and there. I am wondering a few things: 1.) Why is it that the elders of this family have such a rigid life and forcing it on the kids? 2.) How long before the kids seriously rebel? Not in the i don't care what you say type of way but to COMPROMISE and know that in home and business there is change and in order to move forward you have to accept it!

She won't because she is shown to be an Indian ideal DIL. Our society seriously needs to change on this subject. I am not saying be rude to the elders but you can tell them to mind their own business. This aunt is beyond rude & annoying.
