I liked today's episode, even the comical, nonsensical bits with B ma; I'll take that anyday than watch Akshara cry or see Gma's ridiculous faces (and we were not spared from that even today :(!) I was one of the people in the forum who applauded munna's comments and here's why: 1) He admitted that he committed a mistake by not calling his mother, therefore nipping the issue in the bud so to speak. As far as whether this is childish, I don't think it is. And frankly, most people would agree Naitik did not do anything that jeopardized those expectations. He went to pick up his wife and came back with her IN TIME for the puja. But again, to appease DJ, he made it clear that he knows what the family's expectations are. As a result, no sad faces. I applaud Naitik for speaking up today!

Where I agree with you is the whole Jurassic park mentality, the puja faces ridiculousness, and RajS and daddi's overacting and the senseless storyline accompanying that whole scene...it was like each actor was trying to outdo the other in their facial expressions 🤢 😕...About the Jurassic park mentality: the reason Naitik spoke up was because of this mentality; no "normal" family has these kinds of childish expectations; it is not Naitik who is childish, it is the elders around him...Naitik and Akshara are merely trying to function as newlyweds in the midst of some severely emotionally handicapped people who are set in their ways. When did it become a crime to go see your wife when you got home from a trip? And not calling your mom; is Naitik a 12 year old? Well, G ma certainly thinks so...Daddi and RajS scene was comical and frankly, gave me more fodder for Shanta's expressions thread. The whole discussion was over the top and completely unnecessary...why is it necessary to discuss what their jamai sa did or did not do? What does it matter? I can understand RajS is worried about Aksh, but what can she (RajS) do? As far as the dinner table conversation with Varsha, I think it is just an excuse to bring that ridiculous hormone doctor back 😆 😆

And lacchu21 I completely agree with you that Aksh's feelings have absolutely no importance right now...I do hope that Naksh talk it out and Aksh lets Naitik know that surprises are great, but to keep the mental family and her in mind while planning them 😃 😃

very well summed up, anjali ..........yesterday's episode......i thought, after a long drought, naitik used his brains.......and did not leave his beloved akshi to the mercy of the carnivorous dinos...........

I strongly believe that Naitik was adorable as a husband in wanting to give akshi such a cutie-cutie surprise..........BUT it was extremely INSENSITIVE on his part to NOT inform G3 IN ADVANCE about his plans........... .....ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT G3, despite all her flaws, IS A DOTING MOTHER TO HIM.....whose entire world.....or rather her solar system..revolves around him............

Yesterday, i think he took the first step in an attempt to bridge the gap b/w G3 and Akshi.......a fact to which he hitherto seemed OBLIVIOUS to.................

Naitik.........this is for you........ 👏 ............if a son handles his mother's insecurities well.... during the early phase of his marriage.........mil-dil problems can be minimised to a large extent......

OFCOURSE, it goes without saying that the cvs are totally clueless as to what they want to show.....maybe their script papers have got jumbled up........

Renu, thanks for mentioning that Naitik was insensitive towards his mom in not telling her of his plans beforehand...and you also bring up an excellent point about his handling his mom's insecurities and thereby attempting to bridge the gap between his wife and mother...and yes, cvs have no clue where they want to take this show so the less said the better...

akshara talking to naithik about her feelings ......i doubt .....she only expresses her feelings to naithik when it comes to an end until then she will just sunthi hai ..bus aur kuch nahi....i don't know how many days CV's want to show too much goodness of akshara.too much sweetness and too much goodness se humko diabetes na hojaye.
naithik speaking up in today's episode is good but some thing is missing .that's what i feel.naksh loves each other very much but does they really understand each others feelings very well .

rajasree kuch nahi kar sakhthi hai that's why she is behaving like that.she only creates the problems in akshara's and varsha's life.

Ritvi, you bring up an interesting point about Naksh loving each other but not necessarily understanding each other's feelings...I agree with you again to some extent, because this is something that will grow over time. I must say though that they've come leaps and bounds from where they were even a month ago: no more khamoshi ki bhasha, no more aap mujhe samajte kyun nahi on Aksh's part, and no more awkward silences in their bedroom😳 I think SMP1 changed that for the better...They obviously talk a lot now: yaar, they were on the phone till 5:00 am when munna was in Shimla...so obviously, there is some exchange of feelings and other sweet nothings😉
