Ritvi, I was talking abt Naitik's role in Akshara & Gayitri's relationship...but ur talking abt mother-son relation..Naitik n Gayitri naaraz honge, they'll get back without any grudges bec. G is Naitik's mom...but it's different with Akshara....She doesn't know Aksh well and when she will, she will have no complaints with her....As for Naitik's role in saas bahu, he must not find a place there bec. tht'll create more n more problems for aksh and more dialogues frm G (bahu ne bete ko cheen liya) ...when time will come, he will def. stand up for akshara.....but here, HE was wrong and he apologized to G for tht....What did Aksh do? Naitik already told her tht she didn't know anything..now should he scold Gayitri for telling Aksh "tumne serving bowl idhar se udhar kyun rakhe?" 😕 tht's not his problem...Aksh must learn to handle G on her own....if she will behave like a weakling, everybody will treat her like one..

THAT IS PRECISELY THE POINT, RITVI........his immaturity makes him think he IS seeing Akshi's point of view..........whereas all this while he was only landing akshi in a soup...and causing misery to both G3 n akshi.........

i thought yesterday, for the FIRST time.......he tried to see both points of view....which should be the case anyway.........n acted accordingly........N THE RESULT EVERYONE WAS HAPPY...atleast for that time being......

if akshi wants to go to maayka........she has to handle this on her own....naitik intervening will only be breeding ground for MISUNDERSTANDINGS KE AMOEBA........High time husbands realised this....... 😛

Renu, G was always insecure for Naitik and jealous with Aksh..and Naitik always lied for her (before marriage also) ..at that time Gayitri supported him and never showed any signs of jealousy (except once when he said "akshara samajhti hai mujhe.." ) ..and we're only playing guessing games..i feel ke this situation wud have arisen anyways..even if Naitik had not taken her to maayka on teej or lied abt the ring or planned this surprise for her...these feelings of jealousy and insecurity come out of frm the bottom of our hearts..we cannot fake them...we don't know when we start getting jealous of somebody for no apparent reason....Giving due credit to Naitik, Aksh ALSO made a few mistakes (which r not mistakes..she's still a baby) which irked Gayitri (like tht pallu incident) and made her believe that she's going against their parampara , rules and regulations..I'll still maintain tht Naitik, or any boy, can never understand the mindgames of women...when he called up Gayitri to tell her abt his surprise, he proved this statement true...otherwise he cud have hidden this truth frm her and made some other excuse like he wanted Akshara to receive him at the airport......Does Naitik understand tht G doesn't like Aksh going to her maayka again n again? 😕 then how can he react over it? for him , for tht matter anybody, what's the problem in going to maayka? and why does he need a permission? he never meant to hurt anybody intentionally....

ritvi rightfully pointed it out that naitik cannot see it or understand it, as to me he is still a kid, do not wanted to see what akshara wants and go thru with his foolish behaviour.. he is a lucky man to get a wife like her.. he thinks only about himself and his happiness..

I also agree that there should have been a phone call to his mom about his plan to send Aksh to her maayka. BUT, where I disagree is that what happened yesterday was FOOLISH. please read my other posts also... they make this guy naitik do mistakes after mistakes, and give explanations to his mistakes, and you all say it is hai hai hai 👏👏he explained correctly and what more he can do, it was very perfect bla bla bla.. i am not sure whether you can understand what i am trying to explain here..

i want this character to MATURE not make mistakes... very foolish behaviour.. in today's episode also he has no brain to understand Mohit's problem as a friend.. he is a fool.. where as if it was mohit instead, he would have been reading naitik and his issues ...

i could not laugh at BM's foolish act , yesterday, probably i am a serious person, cannot laugh at foolish jokes or actions..

i don't agree to this either.. akshara 19 year old innocent girl handle everything herself, esp the MIL who can be double of her age shows some kind of resentment and jealousy, you are asking her to handle her.. wah... i support Ritvi's point of view that naitik knows his mum in and out and he should be handling his mum not akshara.. it is like akshara used to handle her nani when varsha faces the problem.. now question here is Naitik is a immatured fool to understand what she's undergoing.. i don't say hai hai to his foolish behaviour and defending that.. he had no choice but to open up to them yesterday, as he was feeling hungry since morning, and cannot go away in empty stomach and putting down his points he included akshara also .. not a big deal..😆

Lathika, I appreciate your point of view as far as your need to have Naitik be a more mature character. I am not saying that he does not have childish tendencies, and please understand I comment on things as I see them...yes, I really like Naitik's character and I think his representation for the most part is accurate. My read on him is that he is a naive but confident, impulsive 23 year old who has always had everything handed to him on a platter...he meets a girl with whom he wants to spend the rest of his life...he moves heaven and earth to ensure that he has a courtship with her...he gets married to her. In almost every instance, Naitik has behaved appropriately for that period in his life. I was not an active member of this forum when the mu with Rituraj happened during the wedding; I definitely felt then that Naitik behaved like a 12 year old; I was FURIOUS at him...so please do not count me as someone who sits by and condones everything this character does.

I can relate to Naitik's character from personal experience and I am not going to elaborate on that here...I do know experiences and time help people grow; this does not happen overnight. And, my friend, mistakes are a BIG part of that growth! B]I was impressed with Naitik yesterday because he realized his mistake and spoke up about it.[/B] The reason I continue to watch this show is because I hope that from all these mistakes a more mature Naitik will emerge, and yesterday, I saw a glimpse of a more mature Naitik...So I do understand what you are saying, and in the meantime, I enjoy watching this character in his ever-changing, sweet relationship with his wife and in his handling of his traditional, close-minded mental family.

And I am done commenting on this issue... 😃
