Akshara and Naitik have NO PRIVACY

In every show, we see husbands and wives together but they have NO PRIVACY in their married lives. Here, we see Naitik's mom coming into the room without knocking while the two are talking - they arent allowed to go out and eat or watch a movie without asking to be able to go. I mean, I don't get this. Two people are now married so now let them do what they want. They have their own lives to deal with.
Unfortunately, when we are living with others after marriage, more problems and dramas happen. You see a lot of saas bahu fights, one person saying something to cause problems for others in their married lives, etc. I think that while families are living together, there is less freedom given to the husband and wife in being able to spend quality time together and doing fun things together. Here in America most people live apart from their in laws - sometimes they live together if the in laws are nice. But at least the husband and wife have their own privacy to do what they want without having to ask others if they can go out and what not. I think Naitik and Akshara should live apart without interference from the family so much but then again, I understand why families live together.....still freedom to two MARRIED people is the best thing. Let them both do what they want and enjoy their married life together before they have kids.

Do you guys agree or not? All viewpoints are totally welcome!

maybe if they didn't leave the door to their room open then they can have a private moment...next time close the door and lock form the inside...and if they want to leave the door open more power to them just don't stop what your doing when MOM walks in...teach mom a lesson and let her watch...next time she won't walk in or come near their room when they are alone...

prfan5- I totally agree with that statement LOL! Let the mom see it and then realize next time she should just leave them be. Yes they should close the door....in every show though, people keep their doors open for others to hear their talks or barge in. Pretty lame.

I completely agree with aasighazi. They reallly have no privacy or freedom! I wonder what they are trying to show in this soap...where ive heard that India is moving ahead..shedding all its baseless rules and regulationss!

Naitiks mom just walks in the room, goes through his closet, and what not!!! im pretty this kind of stuff doesnt happen in india! She should know that her son is freakin married...so she needs to let go of him!!!

guys...the creatives are showing which is reality of Indian culture where still today even after you are married...you still bound under the supervision of elders alll the time...it's only upto the couple that how they managed their privacy... Being an Indian...i noticed everywhere i go...even in my family...my uncle-aunts still get permission to hv some privacy or going for movie n all from elder one. Even after marriage they are not allowed to use their free which i feel is wrong...

It's ok to respect elders but it's not ok obey wrong followings...M i right?

You are so right in starting this post! I am always appalled at the lack of privacy for this newlywed couple This is so wrong. The Indian people have to come out of this image. For each and everything, this couple has to struggle with family and elders, to go to a movie, restaurant or even makeout in their own room! This is totally not acceptable in my book!

The CVs have to really make this couple a bit more free and atleast have privacy. They can respect their elders still, but they should not sneak around to even talk or laugh with each other.

well said yaar!!
but i don't agree with naksha living speerate. that wuld not be good.
well i wuld like it if they go for honeymoon. they can spend time with each other and get to understand each other better.
there is lack of privacy when u live in a joint family.
but in yeh rishta its a bit more aggravated.
like naksha had t ask dadji if they could go out and all that ( that was really not needed they r grown up and hav the right to take their own decisions)
wll what is the problem in anewly married couple going out for a movie together??
and dadji telling them to return at 10 oc clock.
the do not get to spend time with each other at hom eand to top it all imposing restrictions9time limit)
what's the problem if they got a bit late??naksha r together na??
they need to understand that the newly weds must get tme to understand each other/
and all of a sudden they ask for "good news"
the couples will e confused as they don't know each other well and puts them in a fix!!

i really wsh akshara and naitik get more privacy
why does gayatri make it apoint to butt into their room everytime??
i really wish they send naksha for honeymoon!!

Keeping the doors of your room closed during daytime (unless you are changing) especially when the other family members are not in their respective rooms and are lingering around in the kitchen or living area is considered as absolute disrespect in India. Its ok to close your room doors only at night or during the afternoon nap (which should come to an end before darling saasu wakes up obviously). If you oversleep, then hell breaks out. There is no problem as long as the son is unmarried, but once he gets married, then its wrong to close the doors. The biggest problem is for the bahu who has to come out of the closed doors and face others. This has happened to me and I am sure most of you married ones out there would agree with me.
