great evalaution. I agree, all the women in this show are shown having no stand in their household. Akshara who can never speak up or stand for herself (HOWEVER now she has the courage to talk to her hubby since she knows him, im happy!), sunaina, the helpless women, rajshri "bechari "got sick because she wanted to force her son and DIL to have a baby cuz she didnt have anything to do to pass her time!! bahbima and gayatri slaving over the kitchen and working like a clock in the house, arent there maids?
Im not saying that working in the house is not work , all work is work, however it seems their whole life revolves around it. They have completely created a negative impression of what marriage is about. Its not about serving your husband but about working together, each person has equal authority and responsiblity. In these chaning times i dunno if people will respond well. I love this show because for me its i watch it and tune it out however others take thes matters to the heart and may end up following these steps as they get older.. It would have been nice if akshara had been bold, then this family would have gotten a jatka!
I agree with DMGFan-2b-not2b , all the shows portray women as either to weak, or to skanky, too traditional or extra modern. MOST of us out there are not like that, i feel i am a good balance of both east and west. Why have we not seen a complete women character in any serial to date? Am i being tooo touchy, sorry guys, id idnt meant to vent out like that, i love naksh and like the serial because i can tune it out, i enjoy it like a show and forget about it. But those that are impressionable, i agree it doesnt send out a good message!

thats why I like Perfect Bride..... Brides like Nandita show that her career is equally or more important than marriage and I also like the girls that stick up for non-veg eating.
These serials are messing with the elders brains b/c they are showing the younghems following their restrictions so the elders expect us to...

BRAVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... i had the same problem with this show and posted similer thoughts on the issue...in another post a day or two ago...
These show have such a huge paltform to raise awareness to issue's that can educate and help families...all around the world..instead they are wasting the opportunity on this useless baseless garbage.....the reasons dont make sense...and the story definately doesnt either...divorce is such a big thing...they could have done wonder's with it...i really hope they make this storyline head somewhere....
and I really hope Varsha and Akshara's education is put emphasis on....they cannot expect us to believe todays women are also about making papads and achars all day...girls have a life other then the kitchen....
i liked ur post!!!!!!

Well said 👏 👏 👏. Looks like the best thing to do is watch Naksh on SBS...after the samarpan, the storyline has regressed instead of moving forward..the fall in TRPs and international viewership will continue if the constant MUs, illogical storylines, and crying don't stop...

i agree Saydie with whatever u said, but i've seen females whose whole life revolves around their family and children...our moms belongs to that generation....WE don't , that's why we can never relate to it...

I would love to watch Akshara and Varsha continuing their studies, delay the plans of having babies at this stage, balance their studies and family well & turn into confident women....

Thanks Aksharanaitik... I agree that shows like these that are popular have the unique dstinction of being a platform for social progression but sadly they stick to hackneyed portrayals. Who says that to entertain one must be regressive?
