Her position is very low in the hierarchy ..first it's Daddaji, then bhabhi ma then her husband and then Gayitri...but when it comes to Akshara, Gayitri will have the last say.....nobody will be able to override her decision , except Naitik..

To me, she's a very mature and sensible lady and she knows what she's doing...but her weak point is Naitik...doobti rag...in future, she might act weird at times ..

gaya3 is sensible an intelligent to point of being cunning.but couldn't use it till naitik's birth gave her the voice in the house so it is that insecurity that her authority and voice in the house is slipping because akshi is taking her place in naitik's life is causing all these problems.there will lots of problems until she feels that akshi doesnt threaten her position in her house and her son's life

Akshara can take Gayitri's place in Naitik's life but not in the Singhania house..till the time elders are there, Daddaji, Bhabhima , Gayitri etc. Akshara's position will be of a bahu only..whatever position she commands in Naitik's life will not change her position in Naitik's family..Gayitri is more worried abt losing Naitik to Akshara...bec. she's used to getting all the attention from him all this while and of course she loves her son more than anybody else ..he is her aim of life..uske jeene ka maqsad.. 😊 it's natural for her to get insecure

Akshi can take the place of gayatri in house if she pleases daji by her smart and efficient behavior.If bhabima also who runs the household and dadaji have good opinion about aks then half her work is done.aks on her is so sweet that she may do lot of things unwittingly without knowing that she has hurt gayatri.even if the last word on aks will be gayatri's,sheknows that she cannot refuse her son who she feels will support aks if he feels it is right.so her last word may not be the last word afterall

I agree 100%, Gayathri is not a bad person, she wants her son to be happy at the same time she is not sure what her role is going to be going forward.

Don't worry Sharmake11, trust me, it gets better over time.. the trick is not to fight it out with hubby, you take the initiative with mil, try not to play the one-up with her, it will only make your hubby unhappy... just assure your mil that she is still valued, important, ask her opinion, talk to her about her son's likes & dislikes... assure her that your goal is to make her son happy.... most reasonable mil will slowly relinquish the control... and if you make your hubby happy, he will be your gulam for life and he will turn to you for emotional support and opinions....
