How is it good that he is acting disinterested and morose during his wedding in front of everyone and let'ting his his own insecurities and doubts overshadow the joy and anticipation of his future partner? It's one thing to show that you are upset with your loved one (I am using this term loosely since I am getting more and more convinced that Naitik loves himself and his ego more than anything else) in private but to put your bethrothed in the most awkward situation imaginable during your own wedding is anything but the act of a person who cares and cherishes about his partner's feelings and honor. Your own wedding ceremony is NOT the place to show your disenchantment.. do it before or don't go through this charade.As I have said in another post.. If one is consumed by his own thoughts and emotions all the time, to the exclusion of all others and all occassions, then maybe he is not ready to take up the responsibility of being a husband.
i understand what ur saying...ur cent percent right......he behaved the same way during his haldi too...he has no intention of hurting his family or Akshara's family or Akshara..perhaps it's OK for a tv serial for a character like Naitik........but I've experienced it in reality...I behaved almost the same way on my wedding reception....I was sitting there with a sadoo face bec. I didn't like the decorations and the venue and my saaree and that photographer and those guests and that cake and the list goes on 😆 i got a good scolding frm my hubby and mom tht what kind of impression are you giving to the guests? but at tht time i never thot abt nybody but myself..my comfort, my choice..I'm not defending Naitik but his behavior is not alien to me..it's wrong i know but it's human nature...sometimes u can't get over ur thoughts and urself...it's not possible for ALL to camouflage their emotions (even if it's the most important day of their lives)
for Naitik it's a big thing bec. neither he wants to force himself on Akshara, nor he wants Akshara to compromise ..it's very strange in this serial...they're showing it as if Akshara is at fault and she needs to cover up the distance created b/w the 2 of them...Naitik is not shown to be guilty..i don't know WHY ! creatives defied all logic yaar! these ppl. are thinking on a completely different track...which only they can understand.
