akshara and varsha r sitting in a room and akshara says that she wants a ring wich is simple for her engagement.
then akshara is getting ready in that red lehemga and is looking beautiful.reshmi comes and shows her the ring and akshara's face drops.its a big one and gayatri is looking at akshara from the door.

yeah i saw the promo..and i was thinking why is it that the promo has to be depressing? why do they choose only the trouble part for the promo? this week is the engagement, they cud have shown a part of the ceremony or the function itself but no !

Well who shows the engagement ring to the girl before engagement? Sorry, the engagement ring cant be of the girl's choice..still Akshara is lucky that her MIL brought her the album so tht she knows her choice but Akshara madam had to be diplomatic & nice..and now she's putting up the options " i want a simple ring"

nowdays big rings are in fashion but i agree tht the design was very old fashioned dadi nani types..and it's not wearable too coz it'll keep getting stuck in the clothes (dupattas and saarees) ..such big rings r like a fashion accessory which r meant to be worn once in a while and not daily.....

Gayitri's expression was bad..i hope she doesn't change the ring before engagement just bec. Aksharaji didn't like it...God knows what she overheard...

this is just the engagement ring..in yrkkh girls have very limited choices, infact they have no choice to make..daddaji decides for everyone in the family or bhabhi ma...As such, i've never heard that girl is selecting her engagement ring...she should be happy whether it's simple or gaudy ! the engagement ring, the jewellery, the clothes, whatever he in laws gift to her, she must accept it with a smile even if she doesn't like it otherwise she's inviting trouble...don't wear them if you don't like but aise react na karo yaar..

I feel akshara got influenced by nani so only she is behaving this way...she was given a chance to select her ring but she simply refused saying "kuch bhi"...now when gayathri selected something for her..she has a problem with that..that's so silly...i hope this doesnt cause problems b/w her and her MIL....
