secondly, yeah it was wrong 2 reject a gal bcoz she wanted 2 become a singer. but it was more absurd of akshara 2 reject a guy bcoz he had a mustache. where did all the anti-feminism go whn she did tht. if a guy wants a housewife its his personal choice.

as 4 the limitations yeah ours has been n is a male-dominated society. there are certain guidelines set 4 boys galz. its more in smaller towns than cities. vish was against shava love marriage until akshara convinced him.

the only thing the kig agrees wid u is badi opposing akshara's singing which was senseless. if ali's family di want a career gal as their DIL it was thei choice. there was no need 4 badi 2 create all tht drama.

First, congrats for your marriage and second why are you refering to your self as a third person?

Other thing is that there is nothing wrong in rejecting a guy because he has a mustache. I would do that myself. I mean its not like guys dont reject girls based on their physique. Physical compatibility is important especially since you are expected to spent the rest of your life with the person and both the guy and the girl has that rights
. But expecting some one to stay home and cook for you and give you kids and take care of your kids while the man goes out to earn money is a little conservative and gross and not acceptable. Especially in an Indian society where usually its the man who goes out to work and the female who stays home? WHY is it not the other way around? wantingi s house wife might be a personal choice, but it is a choice that is spreading in india like a disease... and people like akshara's parents who tend to respect that personal choice, especially for their 19 year old daughter, who hasnt even completed her studies, that shoulf be punishable...
and reagarding picking a guy/grl from an album, lets admit it that in many parts of india, it is still improtant today to match kundalis rather than blood tests... just by talking to a guy/grl of a few days, meeting their parents is not enough... how do you know if you are mentally compatible with the famiyl? with the guy?
Bottom line, Grls dont reject guys because they want to work and so guys should not reject grl because they want to work.. better yet.. every one should releive their parents of the duty to find their partners for them and go do it themselves... for god's sake, you are an adult and it is you who have to live with that person, not your parents, so go find them yourselves!

Oh and another thing I forgot to mention is that if a grl can't work, why do the parents educate their daughters?I mean I am a med student, and i can tell you from personal experience and studying takes a lot of energy and work and even money.. so if some one told me to make them rotis and stay home, i will be very mad especially if I cant apply all that I learned to my life and go do something about it.. whats the point of staying up soo late to study and taking soo much stress about it and always trying to get good grades if one cant even apply their education to work?

firstly this is the way the king speaks so all of u have 2 come in terms wid it.

wht u r sayig abt guyz wanting housewives may be true in villages but not in cities. in the cities also most middle class families wud want a working gal as it will help them financially. only those families which are very rich want galz 2 stay at home as they feel they don need financial support. now the king is not saying it is right but it is their decision. if a gal is interested she will marry into tht family else she will reject. in 2day's world most parents wud not force a gal into a marriage.

the above was from the POV of the general public. now lets c from the pov of the production house. as v know most of the viewers r women n especially housewives they will not b interested watching a drama revolving a galz struggle in her workplace. the success of bidaai, kyuki etc r examples. n failure of salaam zindagi, waaris, virudhh egs too. hence even if akshara marries naitik her career as a singer is doubtful.

the king does not advocate tht aranged mariage or love marriages r better. mariage is a marriage whether its love or arranged. the basic foundation of whihc is mutual respect, love n trust. hence the king wud not go abt advising people 2 search their partners themselves or let their parents choose.

next coming 2 the point abt physical appearance being important. yes its true. but remember compatibility is even more important. if u dream is not supported by ur partner it will have more adverse effect than physical appearance which may change in 5 or 10 or 20 years. when v enter into wedlock v take wid us a lot of expectations wid us. its better to stop before if they cant b met rather than getting disappointed later n thts wht happened in the show. ali's expectations n akshara's dream did not match n they stopped. whts wrong in it.

note to mods: the king believes i healthy discussion n thts he does. hence u can b rest assured tht he will not let ay situation get out of control.

Yes I agree with you.. I didn't know it was from a public POV...
Also, I don't have issues with the fact that they did not get married but with the fact that the parents are blaming akshara and think that this is all her faulT and that their repect is gone...

You can refer to your self in thrid person I dont mind.. I was just curious... Infact its very unique and refreshing.. lol
