I just felt it was a bit petty to say I am only making food for my children and that she should make her own. Also that dig about "if she knows how".

But I do understand her position. KK specified that Sid was in danger if he married Anushka and she pleaded with Anushka to do otherwise. Plus Gayatri is probably facing a bit of PTSD from knowing that her husband was murdered by someone they considered a friend. Its not so easy to let that go.
