I understand it's upsetting to see your culture not represented properly.
But this is a fictional show, and like a poster said the jeers jaggery thing is more important than pheras, a person from another part of india wouldn't understand that.
Viewers are from across religions and hence they'll show something everybody can understand.

Don't take any offence, makers often take creative liberties, besides if they showed all rituals then the wedding would carry on for a couple of episodes.

I understand your frustration, I also belong to a very misrepresented community. They only show my community as jazzy, eating papad and saying wadi saeen (which we don't use). But I've learnt to sit back and enjoy

Hi,
I feel given the context of current track/ story, the wedding was a necessity, but, time was a constraint. The makers may have tried to squeeze a quick wedding to move the story forward and get the show to a logical ending. Since the show will be ending soon, they may not have the leisure time to show all the customs. The team has consistently delivered detailing in all the departments.
I was myself looking forward to see the detailed Andhra customs ..including the groom in the traditional attire per Andhra wedding. I remember some of us on the forum having discussed this when Anu had declared that she will have a South Indian wedding.
The series as a whole has offered subtle, simplistic yet spectacular entertainment that I am ready to overlook the glitches at this point!
