Only Shurbi has fan following...but not all shows are famous because of fan following. Bepannah both leads have millions of fan following but it is not as popular as Naagin.

Qayamat ki raat leads do not have huge fan following but that is also topping both trp charts

Won't be surprised if one day the TRP thing and the way it is calculated/measured turns out to be rigged.. if you notice most of the shows by EK mata manage to reach the top and generate good numbers even with the most absurd and illogical content.

A few months ago another show on Sony with Ejaz khan had very good plot line but it did not get a good response and was shutdown after 6-7 months. EDKV too could not run its due course and was wrapped up earlier but other reasons were given for it.

Channel too lacks in promoting its shows. Sad to see good Content being neglected and all the crap shows running forever.

Guess many of the fans in this forum are very young and may have even heard some of the progressive shows in the 90's. Some shows of Renuka shahane like sailaab, kora Kagaz had very progressive content and were my favorite.
