Enchanting beauty Palak Jain, who is winning hearts as Anushka in Sony TV's Yeh Pyaar Nai Toh Kya Hai, says she finds herself lucky to have bagged a multi-shaded character in her debut show.

She shares, "The journey has been fruitful so far. Although Anushka is a rich girl but her simplicity is her charm and that is what connects viewers to her character. There are multiple shades to the role which are challenging for me as a newcomer. It is not monotonous as an actor as I get to portray different emotions.

The upcoming track will witness Anushka and Siddhant come close to each other. Talking about the same, she adds, "Audience has witnessed a loving daughter and now they will witness a lover too. The romantic track will be fun for audience to watch as they will see a different avatar of Anushka. Siddhant is from a middle class family and Anushka from a rich family. Her father wants her to marry a rich guy so how she will fight for her love, the scenes will be a treat for the loyal viewers. Even I am excited to witness this change in my character.

Palak wishes to play a strong woman on-screen. "There is always a dream role for an actor and I wish to portray a strong woman on-screen. I would want to play a character like Padmavati (Padmaavat) and Rani (Queen). Latest is Sehmat in Raazi. It would be a good opportunity for an actor.
