Hello everyone! I didn't know if anyone would want a story on Kartik-Purva but i wanted to write it. Hope you guys like it. It has a bit of SidUshka too :P
KarVa + SidUshka SS : Love Conquers All
Part 1 : What's this feeling? Dammit, it's love!
Everyone was busy with the wedding festivities and celebrations when Kartik spotted her again smiling away, chirping.
Anushka smiled away seeing her brother being happy but as soon as she saw him gawking in their direction she was surprised to say the least.
'Nupur toh wahan par hai. Kartik idhar kise dekh kr khush ho rha hai?' Anushka thought to herself.
She pushed away the thoughts thinking maybe it was her he was looking at. She went back talking to Purva and joking about guys to her.
"Kartik, kise dekh kar muskura rahe ho bhai?" Siddhant asked, breaking Kartik's reverie.
This brought him back to his senses and he spoke,"No..no one!" Kartik excused himself at once.
He needed a shower to cool himself off. Something was wrong with his head, it was time to push that face away from his mind.
Kartik felt the water drops hit him and then her smile flashed in his mind, he immediately opened his eyes.
'Purva kyun aa rahi hai mere dimaag mein, baar baar! Usko khush dekh kar ya usse baat karke main khush kyun ho jata hun? I feel so much like myself with her, she understands me just like Anu does. What's this feeling?' He pondered to himself.
"Oh damn, towel toh bahar hi bhul gaya. Kartik what's wrong with you!" He scolded himself.
That's when he heard a movement outside, maybe someone was in his bedroom.
He decided to call out, "Hello koi hai? Mera towel reh gya hai bahar, could you pass it on?"
He waited for a few moments, and soon enough someone's hand came inside passing out the towel to him.
"Thank..ohh wooo...woahh!" He stumbled forward and fell onto the person who was handing him out the towel.
"I'm so sorry. Wo paani tha and I may have slipped!" He completed but upon seeing her in front of him his brain went into overdrive. They were on the floor at the moment, he on top of her.
She looked beautiful, how was it she was so perfect, he moved his hand closer trying to touch her face but then he felt a hand touching him.
Shit, Purva was touching him, she was wiping his wet drops with the towel in her hand, he looked back at her, she was as lost in him as he was in her.
He moved closer if it was possible,"Tum kitni sundar ho." He blurted out, it was as if he had no control on himself, he saw her blushing at his words.
"Purvaaa." They heard a voice and immediately tried to straighten up but in the process she fell back again.
"Kahan ho? Ohh!" Anushka stopped short in her tracks, her voice was stuck in her throat seeing their position.
"Anu, oh dammit." Kartik got up and held his hand out for Purva, she was quick to take his support and stood up.
She couldn't tear her eyes away from him, they both were admiring each other.
"Uhmmm..mmm" Anushka cleared her throeat, demanding an explanation with her eyes.
"Anushka, aisa kuch nahi hai jaisa tumhe lag raha hai. Woh bas Kartik ko towel de rahi thi aur ye mujh par gir gye the." Purva spoke in a jiffy. Kartik nodded his head, agreeing.
Anushka passed a knowing smirk and said,"Kartik pehle tu change karle. Main aur Purva yahin hain, phir baat karte hain."
Kartik agreed at once and disappeared inside. Anushka made Purva sit on the bed and looked at her closely.
"Dekho Purva. Before anything hum bahut ache dost hain right? So batao mujhe kya tum Kartik ke liye kuch feel karti ho?" Anushka questioned carefully.
She saw Purva fidgeting with her dress, "Hum karte bhi hon toh kya, woh toh nahi karte , aur toh aur , unki toh shaadi ho rahi hai."
Anushka laughed at the response,"Kartik toh feel karta hi hai. Mere bhai ko chup karana na bahut logon ke bas ki baat nahi hai. But tumne kar dikhaya!"
Kartik came inside and held her ears," Acha Anu ki bachii?" Anushka passed a sheepish smile.
"Pehle tum dono dekho, ki kya chahte ho, baaki tum mujh par chod do. Tum dono se main bahut pyaar karti hun, tumhari khushi ke liye kuch soch hi lungi!" Anushka spoke leaving them behind.
As Anushka left from there, she bumped into Siddhant. He steadied her and questioned,"Kya ho raha hai andar? Sab theek?"
She thought to tease him and replied,"Andar woh ho raha hai jo yahan kabhi nahi hota!"
Siddhant stood perplexed for once, but then laughed hard, seeing him laughing in such a carefree way, Anushka joined him in.
Inside, Purva didn't know what to say and what not to. Kartik knew his sister had said one thing right, this girl had made him quiet, he was tongue-tied.
"Hume nahi pta ye feeling kya hai. Kya aap bhi aisa kuch feel karte hain?" Purva asked gathering every ounce of courage she could.
Kartik remembered how he had questioned himself,"What's this feeling?" a lot of times in the past days.
He decided to make her and him understand in his style now. He pulled her closer startling her, she couldn't get herself to look at his face.
"Upar dekho, phir batata hun." Kartik spoke, trying to get her to face him. She gazed into his eyes and their gaze locked.
"Dammit, it's love." He said pushing her away as the realization struck him. That was when he heard a short laughter, his confusion turned to a smile slowly.
"Jab pyaar ka realization hota hai, ladka ladki ko paas kheechta hai, aap dhakka de rahe ho." Purva spoke still laughing.
Kartik shook his head and went closer to her, her breath hitched with every step he took. "That's my style now, get used to it."
She smirked and said,"Kyun?" He didn't like being teased, so pinning her to the wall, he added,"Bolo do you love me?"
"I think.. haan , I love you too dammit." She replied smiling making him chuckle slowly but then she added worriedly ,"Par aapki shaadi?" It felt all of a sudden as if her happy bubble burst.
He surprised her by gathering her in for a hug. "Woh tum Anu par chod do, wo dekh legi."
Anushka and Siddhant peeped inside, they both were happy for them as well as scared.
"Ab kya aur kaise karna hai?" Siddhant asked her, this was no easy task.
"Jo bhi karna hai, we'll make sure in dono ko inki khushiyan milein." Anushka said with a determination.
"It's quite important to do that. Isme humara bhi fayda hai!" Siddhant added as an afterthought making Anushka's eyebrows to raise, not understanding his point.
"Haan, agar Kartik Purva mil jate hain, and we're successful, in that case hum apni dulhaniya jald hi le jayenge, easy ho jayega na." He said with a smirk leaving a bewildered and blushing Anushka behind.
