awesome shayri 😊 ur right - ypnhk was something else altogether ! the roles were no roles - that was real people. i know girls who're just like guddan. even though they're bought up abroad, but don't talk to boys, esp indian boys, coz they know that somehow somebody is gonna make up rumors. and i also know boys who're just like abeer. crushed between a ridicously strict father and an extremely loving mother - no balance. if someone wrote a book about this story, it would go into history like other famous love stories. and although the story was picturised, and later on, destroyed, still abeer and leher as people were the anker constantly reminding the viewer about the depth of the story.

it's been months since the show stopped but the impact is so strong i could still go on analysing...

Aww this is an awesome post Nani!!🤗 thanks for the PM!! I love the song Yaadein always gets me emotional!😳! And aww that sister scene was soo awesome, i actually watched it for the first time because i guess i missed those epis since the free preview stopped and i never got to catch up with them all! awww i always love sister bonding scenes!! Thanks for sharing ur memories, i watched a few promos of the show knowing Gaurav was in it on YT and i just loved the whole chaath walay scenes..then when the free preview started coming i really enjoyed watching all the AbHer interactions during the Rashmi-Madhav wedding!! and then the antakshari and chaath scenes and so many more scenes that made me just love them i can go on and on😍 Do keep me updated through PMs i will definitely keep in check with ur posts!! Love u all!!!🤗

I'm so sorry Ratna, for commenting SOOOO late in this thread..😒 Nonetheless, I will now!😆

Just loved reading through the whole post. Its nice to read different individual stories and experiences attached to the show and specific episodes. Thankyou so much for refreshing the memories of this episode! Great to know that you started watching the show cuz of Yami, cuz more often , I've read people commenting that they started watching the show because of Gaurav ( me being one of them too ). I was attracted to the show cuz of the first promo and Gaurav in it was Sone Pe Suhaaga! And Both ( i.e. Gaurav and the first promo ) , still attract me like they did ever before😆 Yami in the first promo, didn't know her name then, but found her immensely pretty and attractive!

YPNHK/AbHer/YaRav were ( and still are ) like a Magnet for me. It kept me pulling towards every episode. Used to wait so impatiently for the clock to strike 9😆 and that really reached a new height after I saw the Abeer confession promo. That really made me so impatient to survive through what it seemed like a LONG weekend.😆

Nainu 🤗.....thank u my raunak pothi......and u are not late.......yes i am one of the few who started watching the show because of Yami......but it did not take a day to fall in love with Gaurav ......found them so made for each other....my perfect YaRav 😍........glad to know u watched the show from the beginning......those first few promos were awesome........can watch that magic again and again...........thank u for sharing your memories......love u so much......TC 😊

Lovely post, Ratna and don't worry, Nainu, I am the last to comment I am sure! 😳 I got your PM Ratna but very busy with personal work since I am winding up a lot of things before my last day on April 8th! 😛

I watched right from the beginning.......since I caught the promos, I was hooked.....never missed an episode at 9 pm throughout the life of the show except one or two days when the cable TV developed problem! 😉

I was attracted to both the leads in the promos.........had seen GK in Jeevan Saathi but did not recognize him as by the time I watched JS, he was presumably dead....😕...in fact my first sight of him was laid out in a coffin,😲 but they brought him back later and he was serious by that time........and Yami was also new to me! After I started watching YPNHK and came to know who it was, I went back and watched all the earlier episodes of JS...😆..I would have recognized him if I had seen them earlier because he was a prankster in those episodes! 😊

My journey of falling in love was Abeer, Gaurav, AbHer, Yami, and then YaRav in that order..........so I shall never forget GK's role as Abeer! ☺️ He is very special for me! And the AbHer chemistry was out of this world! ❤️

I loved the entire cast......leaving a few like the Bua and her kids.......but they did butcher some of the characters later on.......even Guddan and Bittan relationship....😒......they made Bittan bitter with her sister in the end for a while..........and we all know how the last few weeks were.......absolutely homicide of the story! 😭

Still it brought us all together here.........and I have loads of memories.....sweet ones......associated with YPNHK........have never come across a show that touched me as YPNHK did! 😊

Thanks Ratna for this post..........it was nice reading everyone's memories of our favorite show!
