Hi Veer .. Glad to have you join us in our discussions on the section.
Like Marina mentioned above .. it will be nice if you hang on to the show for a while longer. Like every other show, YPNHK also has its negatives .. but in my opinion .. the positives far outweigh the negatives. Ups & downs are part & parcel of every show .. and again, YPNHK is not a perfect show! Like everything else .. the team is also learning as they go.
Anyways .. its your choice if you want to continue watching the show or not.
For now, may I request you to somewhat change your subject heading. As a moderator, I'd prefer and encourage everyone here to have and send out positive vibes about the show, and your title is sorta a put-off. Sorry about being so upfront about it .. and hope you don't mind.
I sincerely hope you continue watching the show .. and share your viewpoints about the upcoming episodes with all of us here.

hey guys, thanks for replying to my topic!
it's nice to hear other people's views as well 😊

i guess, i shouldn't be so harsh on the makers.
ypnhk is one serial which is not solely made for housewifes,
but has the potential to attract younger audiences as well. 😉

lemme add some more positive aspects, i've noticed about ypnhk:

- the scprit writers have given the cast very authentic dialogues,
like everyone speaks typical lucknow-style hindi: "ham" in the first person and "tum" for everyone else

-tameez and taihzeeb is a major theme in the serial,
really like it 😃

- what I also like is, that dadi ji and other people use a lot a muhaawre and kahaavtei'n
it gives the show a REAL lucknawi/U.P. flavor

let's see, if the serial actually comes back to it's old charm. really hope so!

again, thanks for sharing your views!

best regards, veer 😊

Hi
Like 10on10 said thanks for changing the subject line coz it was quite upsetting though your post in itself was pretty good and made some valid points. But then again we all know the show is different or atleast started out differently and has some awesomely lovable characters who need our support to stay on for longer..So shouldnt we give it some time and believe in it before threatening to quit at every opportunity..I can understand the disappointment at the current track but lets keep giving the creatives our feedbacks and hope for the best!

Like everybody said just hang in there Veer!!

ya don't worry .. i'm actually watching again! 😆 it's kinda addictive.

todays episode was better.

leher at least showed some tears and explained her behaviour.
she is emotionally broken and doesn't have the power to revolt against her family any more,
coz it was her who was insulted and not abeer.

and leher's dad and mom showed signs of panik after seeing that omi has his "bhaiyas" with guns. i think, they should have shown some kind of definite regret over their decision!

i nearly had to puke seeing omi being welcomed as a dulha with puja ki thaali 🤢
and when he snatched leher's hand, i just thought: someone kill him! 😡 brij and mridula were just sitting like mere spectators. 😕

i want to see omi forced to confess EVERYTHING in front of leher's family and in front of the vajpayees, so that the family izzat of the mathurs is restored back in front of the whole mohalla.

and i would like to see kul getting a big fat chaaNta from brij his elder brother. chacha ji definitely has a negative role. he has taken rishwat from a gunda, and does not even mind getting his own bhatiji getting engaged to a gunda!

i definietly want to see regret from leher's parents.

some more ideas are: abeer should argue to leher's dad that if (god forbid) this marriage would have taken place, then no one in the whole bradree would marry bittan and no one would have their daughter married to ankur.

what i also want to see is, that leher takes sides with abeer in front of everyone. after everythings cleared, she should have the courage to say: yes, i'm with abeer, no matter what.

but what also is important, that she tell's the vajpayees, that she is never going to be their bahu, after being insulted from tn and his mother.

maybe a new twist: leher will only marry abeer, but will never forgive his family (or maybe after a lot of time has passed) 😉

the makers have a chance of undoing everything they've sacrificed for trp ;)

looking forward to tomorrow's! cheerio, veer😊

I am begging for what you have written since the last week Veer!
Abeer should explain that the Mathur's have had a very close shave with ultimate humiliation. He should tell them that noone would have held Bittan's hand / Ankur's hand and they would be finished had Omi been their son in law.
Omi should be exposed as a goonda and the person responsible for sting operation. Omi should die!
Brij should slap Kul and Brij and Brij/Mridula should have regrets!
Shripal.

@shripal .. yeah, i agree completey! the realness about the show is that the people are real. if something like this happens in real life, obviously people are going to talk about it to each other.

lehers dad who used to say "hamari betiyan hamara guroor hay'n" now distrusts his laadli daughter so much that he dind't even ask her once, why she slapped omi, nor did he think for a second before giving his consent for the proposal. 😕

he didnt even ask her, what the hell she was doing with the neighbors boy in some room, and where that room was. 😕 which would have been a valid question. all leher said about this was, that she dindt paar any hadd.

he should at least have been interested in knowing why omi out of all people is offering to marry leher.

i remember the scene in tn's office where he takes tn's airs by telling him, that his family also have sanskaar and saleekha. or the track where he scolds his younger brother bcos of the wall issue. or the way he forgives abeer, only bcos abeer asked for forgiveness in a mannered way.
initially they portrayed him as being open minded, yet sanskaari and tameezdar, as a kaayasth who's modern but who at the same time guards his izzat. now nobody would even notice if he weren't there anymore. 😕

request to the makers: please keep the wonderfully sketched chracters consistent in their personality!! 😵 they're the shows biggest asset!! 😉
