@ Hina - Yup .. I've noticed that they don't advertise the show on their website .. and instead have their afternooon band shows. But guess coz those shows are comparitevly new. Still .. they need to give YPNHK some space.

Thanks for the info Tupichi.I think its good stategy on the channels part to cancel the 11:30 PM slot because it seems lots of people were tuning in to watch it at 11:30 instead of 9😕But i checked the listings for the repeats from monday on Tata sky and They seem to have retained the 11 am repeat slot.

Thanks for the responses. We should probably try and contact colors people to pass on some of these great ideas being discussed on the forum. I too don't understand - why do they always have the LTL promos with the ypnhk ones?

it is not a good idea at all
becoz its the time of bidaai at star plus

and in most of the houses ladies watch Bidaai at 9 pm
it tough to get TV free at that time
bcoz youngsters love the show more and they r the main viewers in india

the reapeat telecast of the show had got more viewership
but now are going to loose it also

Gaayu and Eks the marketing strategies are really marvelous, they should work wonders for the show.
They had very similar promos of Abeer and Leher talking to us during the free promo in the US, I am not sure if they had one for the Colors channel in India.
Yami leaning on GK's back and they are facing away from each other, it was so cute.
"Hum Abeer vajpaaye hain hamari amma chahthi hain hamari shaadi brahmin ki ladki se ho" and Yami would say something similarly. Sudha and Mridula talk separately on how they want their daughter and son-in-law resp. from their castes only. Abeer would end it by saying, "bas humne tho tay kar liya hai...yeh pyar na hoga kam".
Just loved that promo, they had the same ones for every other show, believe me this one was shown once a week...no offense to other shows but Anandi would show up to promote 'Baalika vadhu' every half an hour, also Laado's ammaji and Siya and not to forget Uttaran's Ichha and tappu.
I agree with Hina this is a step-motherly treatment towards the show...I do not get it , if ur show is not doing well u need to boost up the promos. Wonder as someone has pointed out if this has to do with the court case.

I agree the promotion of ypnhk is much lesser than other shows. But, I think in the US what they were trying to do is actually promote the channel itself. That was when 'apna colors' was getting introduced on Dish Network. So they probably thought that they need to promote the already popular shows such as Balika Vadhu, Uttaran and Laado which people may have heard of because they were doing so well in India. ypnhk was a very new show at that time.
Just my view-point... but, yes loved that promo!

ya I agree it was a new show but did u notice LTL was promoted more than YPNHK, and both the shows were launched together...that annoys me.
They are doing similar thing in India as well, so for obvious reasons they wouldn't care much for the US audience which is definitely smaller.
