Coming to the topic I think here the creatives want to show that how the dulha-dulhan feel helpless in such inter-caste marriages where both the family rituals r like chalk and cheese😆

Madhav is quiet because he cannot deny the fact that even though Rashmi is from another caste,his parents hv accepted the proposal...on the other hand Rashmi was quiet during those rituals and she saw how Dadi kept on humiliating her parents..so it was obvious that in the last episode she just lost her temper and said few things which she should not hv spoken at that point of time..

They r actually showing all this in a realistic manner..this is what exactly happens in such inter-caste marriages..because I hv seen similar insults and tempers flying high during my cousin brother's wedding too who was getting married to a Kayasth girl..

As far Madhav doing the rituals in Kolkata is concerned..well he can'ty because those rituals r suppose to b done 1 or 2 days before the marriage only..

But because its a daily soap which is suppose to entertain us and the main theme of this show is of couse AbHer love story..so I feel the creatives can just end this marriage now and concentrate on the main storyline to keep the viewers interest intact😳

Jyots .. thanks for this post and enlightening us further 😳 Reading your take .. its actually quite heartening to know that the makers are projecting the happenings in a very realistic manner. Coz thats when the show appeals to an audience out there who, with entertainment, want to see something real that happens in our society. Not everyone will relate to it .. but still, atleast its authentic.
