Honestly, Aru did act like a retard when she laughed at her own joke when Mukhi asked for her forgiveness believing that he might have done something objectionable to her. That is the level of TRUST Mukhi has for Aru. He didn't even need to check the video footage to believe her. He went against his own gut instinct and his confidence in his own self control and apologized to her.

Imagine what Mukhi would have felt when Aru said that 'woh kahin ki nahi rahi'! Thousand scenarios would have flashed in his mind- what will he say to her parents, his self-loathing about breaking his own promise, losing Aru forever. Can you even imagine his panic?

I wanted to slap Aru then. CVs through today's scene ruined the beauty of the scene ArMu shared in Ahmedabad when Mukhi assured her that he would NEVER go against her wishes and would only take a step forward when she is ready. And now at every instance, Aru is acting so childishly making a mockery of Mukhi's decency!

I would say she has a long way to go as human being; sorry 21 years is not really an immature age to justify Aru's behavior. Jealousy track was justified but making Mukhi conscious of something he isn't even trying to attempt is just plain nonsense!!

I love you for creating this thread. I watched 4 episodes back to back today and didn't feel anything magical unlike so many people who went ga-ga over some scenes. Today's scene was a deal-breaker for me. I can watch their Ahmedabad episodes on loop for the sheer beauty of dialogues and timing of those scenes.

Mukhi is mature but he should not lose his self respect for Aru. Today I think by not making her realise her immaturity, he did compromise on himself, How will Aru grow if Mukhi would not give her perspective and highlight her fallacies to her?

u still sounded like u r jst venting out while answering my post..

thts y ppl don't give u credit for ur sometimes valid arguments tht u make..which r actually lost amidst ur aggressive reactive words..
😆

No idea why all CVs of every beautiful show resort to unnecessary comedy ruining the core traits of a character. Right now, ArMu relationship looks too lopsided where Mukhi is literally giving away too much for Aru. His consideration for her dreams and her wishes shows how grounded, secure and sincere Mukhi is. Did we see an iota of Aru's sincerity with respect to Mukhi this past week?

I don't know where this is going.

I tend to agree tht this whole teasing thing/making a mockery of his decency was unnecessary.. I did not get Aru's conduct at all.. 🤔 .. what did she gain by doing this? Unless it was a trp tactic.. 😆

obviously Mukhi had taken it very seriously.. and Aru had not.. hopefully (and it luks like she has )understood the seriousness of the situation.. and how much Mukhi values her and her izzat over everything.. and wud not repeat the same silly mistake over again..

luks like her sensible brain was back.. hope she keeps it for a while..
😆

bt I wud not judge her so harshly.. how can u forget the Aru tht we saw in the beginning? Surely.. Aru is losing her characteristic traits after confession.. bt hopefully makers realize this and put a plug on this washout soon enuf.. 😳

this inadvertently happens with a female lead after she confesses.. her brain stops functioning.. she loses her focus on her career and she becomes more irritating.. 😆😆😆

at least Aru here is less irritating thn the previous show leads I have watched..
😆

@Sub and Zenjoe

regarding dhoodh SR scene promise I wud still keep faith on CVs.. thy will make Aru revisit tht promise.. 👍🏼 bt tho I don't see a need now.. coz she has understood her folly in questioning his integrity 😳

@also Zenjoe:

We need to wait and watch Aru from here on.. and see how much she gives in this relationship.. she has jst started to appreciate Mukhi as a husband.. lets c where it goes from here.. 😳

But this is the very thing I loved abt Mukhi.. tht he is not trying to control Aru's life.. trying to b a pushy preacher guide or mentor.. I loved the fact tht he is letting her be what she is and loving her for it, letting her make mistake and learning from it..

bt earlier when he was not in love.. he did act like one.. bt since he has claimed themselves to b on equal footing he has never been too preachy to Aru.. he has been mature and understanding.. and made Aru realize her mistakes on her own.. by jst being supportive..

I love the fact tht these characters have flaws.. it makes thm so much more human.. not every day our relations r sweet.. thy r sour sometimes.. sometimes even bitter.. bt at the end of the day love conquers all.. all chid chida pan.. all berukhi.. misunderstandings.. anger.. tantrums.. bad day at work... 😆 also hormonal mood swings.. 😆 😆

Agreed... it would better if this conversation have shown as Mukhi's imagination... it was too ugly to be a real joke.
