The scene where both Mukhi and Aru are drenched today , contemplating what they mean to each other, thinking only about each other, and letting the feelings flow...that was the highlight of Armu relation today.
Mukhi till now has not been shown thinking about her, except for when she was going to leave first time. Aru back then was not emotional . Today, she is a different story.
Today she is the storm of emotions , bringing rain and thunder with her in which Mukhi was drenched. Her tears were for him, for not wanting to go away. And he, he was also in tears..his tears were much there, but being wiped by the rain. The man cannot cry, so he cried to the rain and it came for him.
They both were drenched in emotion, him more than her , thats why he could not talk to her after he came in from the rain. He was not shunning Aru, he was full of her thoughts and did not want her to see it. Though he is less reactive, he is processing his thoughts faster. She is more reactive but she us analyzing herself quite slowly.
First time have seen a woman eating a railway ticket to be with her man...Silly stupid, but intense and committed Aru. Ek baar kuch sochleti hain to khud apni baat nahi Sunti types.
The choke scene was executed beatifully by Niyati...hats off...perfect reactions. And Eijaz's grounded acting was so to the point in both the rain realization scene and choke scene. He is a goner..he cares for her to the moon and back...loves her to bits. Poor fellow does not think he has any power to stop her...or to expect anything from her.
My heart ached for Mukhi today...Arus eyes were telling him so much, she had all her feelings up there on her face after he gave her water..her longing was so evident on her.
Cannot he see it?? No he can. He definitely can. But he is not trusting it. Not trusting that this can be possible. He is afraid that she is just habituated to him and not in love with him. So he will understand that she loves him only and only when she admits that to him. He is going to wait until she spells it out.
Thats why he got just the more annoyed when she said she wanted tea enroute to Ahmedabad. They were bickering, both know they have intensified feelings, so have lost the innocent comfort level they used to have earlier. And admist the bickering he stops the jeep to ask her " tujhe kya chahiye" . He actually means to say..what do you want between us, about us. He was trying to confirm if she has feelings for him . But madam ka mood to bigda hua tha...she says chay chahiye...he is so incredulous and annoyed!!!!.
Then she asks him the same.." aapko kya chahiye" ...this time his chance to tell her not to go. And he says he just wants to be able to drive properly and get her to ger home.
Both such liars, angry at themselves and each other. They were actually having a lovers tiff...and they both dont know.
I was very surprised with Aru's intensity today..throughout the whole epi. She is actually pining for him, for him to stop her and tell her he wants her in his life, and this marraige for real.
The whole Saanvi jealousy track and misbehaviour from Aru was onky to lead upto Mukhi realization today. And for Aru to misbehave they had to show some extra dose of unexplainabke friendship of mukhi saanvi. Meaning, all three characters were moved from own skin for a while, just enough to irritate each other and bring them to todays episode.
Loved Saanvi today, she came out pure white. And now let Aru Mukhi deal with these tides of emotion and figure out what they want.
