I always found Mukhi short of completely understanding Aru.. don't know abt others..

he is jst not taking tht step.. I feel he is holding himself back.. deliberately ya unawares tht I don't know.. bt he doesn't want to do tht..

May b circumstances will force him to retrospect his behaviour and introspect his true feelings for Aru..

from what I have seen in the IVs.. gadbad to hone wala hai. kal.

par to what extent we don't know..

Moh Moh CVs r really unpredictable abt ArMu..

and I m loving it!

@bold : yes both are falling short in understanding mainly mukhiji...dono ek dusre jaanne lage hai bass...but as mukhiji acche insaan hai..aru acchi insaan .both of them knw that they stand for the right always...bass itni jaankari se aur mukhi's saviour avtar made her his deewani but i say a lot more abt mukhi is yet to be known t aru..his reaction for different things ..bhvr towards different persons...relations with his family, friends ...a lot more...n same holds for mukhi...bass usko itna pata hai ki she is kiddo at tyms but a mature gal..but he also needs t know wat is she ? how is she ?y is she so...so much abt her😳

these things will be known gradually but in this process koi gdbad na ho...

i didnt watch d iv yet...so will wait for tommorow😛

a few observations based on today's episode

It was about Aru's insecurity..yes. But in her defense, I will say..Aru is very young, 22. barely out of college, never in love (at least they have not shown anything regarding past love). She has not faced heartbreaks, jealousy or insecurities before. She may be matured in many ways. But she still has less maturity perhaps when it comes to relationship issues. So no...she was not at fault...she has to burn and learn...that love cannot be forced...she till now has been little experienced for that...

Mukhi..42..has seen life far more than Aru. Yes he is from village. but that does not mean he cannot appreciate Aru for what she does for him and his family. He has good words for all...even Rami...but very little for Aru. He keeps calling her dafford..albeit playfully ..but when a 22 year old puts in so much efforts...a few words of appreciation is important. When we were growing up..or 22...for those who are in that phase of life now...will you all not like some appreciation from your loved ones if you put in so much effort??? Mukhi should start doing it soon...or else he will be the loser...

Aru has no idea about Sanvi's birthday. She had just come to know Mukhi was to be engaged to Sanvi 15 years back...and Mukhi gives her no reasons for doing all those sign gestures with Sanvi..or keeping Aru is complete dark his reasons for feeding cake to Sanvi...so any outsider...not just Aru ...is bound to misunderstand Mukhi and Sanvi.

I think a shor separation might be needed for the buddhu mukhi to realize all this...and for Aru to mature...😊

Thanks Vio for the wonderful Meetha Meetha update.

So looks like Aru's day1 turns out 'satyanaash' for her. Just loved Niyati's expressions...so so hurt.

The thing about YMMKD is that they really are thinking from each one's angle.

Here is this city girl, newly in love or awe or whatever you call it, trying to make a big impression. Goes through so much of trouble and gets no reaction nor appreciation at all from the man she wishes to impress.

Here is this village girl, a long time friend to the man. She knows that he does not prefer celebrations. She realizes that Aru doesn't want interference or advice. She knows his tastes. She probably knows that he silently celebrates with her halwa since maybe decades!!

Then there's the guy in question. Above 40. Set in his ways. Likes to keep it simple. Loves the halwa as always. Has no idea of these city birthday rituals. Does not like or appreciate the cake since he does not think too much of it. Keeps thinking of Saanvi maybe since it is her birthday too and they have enjoyed the halwa together for many many years. Who knows they may have promised to celebrate together always.

I can tell you guys, he will not even realize that Aru expects him to do certain things. He may have one look at her and sense that she is hurt but otherwise, it is going to be a rough road for Mukhi to fit in with every code of conduct that we know is expected of a husband (which btw is still a shaky term between them). He even read the 'happy birthday' with much difficulty for the first time!

This also means that if it was Aru's birthday and Mukhi came to know and took her to the temple and brought her back home... it would be what he would do to anyone. How is he to know that she wants to be surprised with a birthday party with balloons and cake. No sirji, Mukhiji only knows what he knows and he has a looong way to go to reach Aru.

Next she may ask him to take her on a long drive and he will ask 'to where?' Practical life situations boss! It really happens!

Ok this one's off topic.. But just read on IF that SNS is going off air from 24 of this month and would be replaced with their afternoon slot show TSMSP..

Hope the channel capitalizes on this opportunity and promotes our show..

ArMu deserve a longer run..

as for this news, yes I heard bt I don't know.. Tu Suraj.. also has rural backdrop and similar sort of chemistry betn the leads.. in fact at one time I found thr chemistry more crackling thm ArMu bt learnt tht hero is exactly opposite to our Mukhiji.. haven't followed the show as such so cant tell whether its the same old regressive show under the masking as progressive ones.. as has been the ongoing trend..

nevertheless it wud b tuff competition bt thrs definitely an opportunity here.. bcoz other 7 p.m. shows r not tht good..

ArMu has edge.. and thr story is hatke.. bt cant say the same abt the Moh Moh's overall storyline..

Moh Moh really needs to up thr ante in terms of effective base storyline.. all the dramas shud b backed up by good hooking plots/tracks..

Bt we know at least ArMu ship is pretty strong enuf to sail all deep and rough waters.. 👍🏼

I had watched a few episodes of TSMSP on and off, but the show didn't interest me enough to continue watching... ArMu definitely have a better chemistry.. But that show even at the its current time slot has more viewership.. Yes it would prove to be a tough competition as well.. But the channel should atleast try promoting this show, its been over a month since they had any promos, even YT doesn't have full episodes, SonyLiv is also not promoted as much as Hotstar or Voot.. Not everyone is aware of it.. I had earlier seen few comments on YT asking them to upload full episodes.. They suck at marketing..

They have such a good starcast.. Eijaz is living the character.. He has put in so much effort into the role, that he makes it seem so very effortless.. Even Niyati is getting better and better by the day with all those subtle expressions..

YMMKD has a lot of potential sub plots as well in form of Mishri, Saanvi, Dharmi, Uma's lives... Don't know if it's the sword hanging over them which has prevented them from weaving the subplots or its their own neglect..

Hope they up their game..
