Its 8:30 am in the city of Manhattan and rush hours has just started. People were in hurry to catch their trains, busses, taxis etc for work. A desi guy named Sumit Malhotra was in this rush to. He was on his way to his store that made him what he is today. A store that made this guy strike rich from being a struggling beggar on the streets of New York eversince his wife left him when she found out he had affairs with 17 different women and was also the father of 4 kinds from 4 different women. The store is none other the Kookiiez. Kookiez has been walking away with awards like "Best Store Of The Year", "Best Snack Store Of The Year", "Best Cookie Store Of The Year", "Best Desi Store In USA", and "Best Store For The Youth". All over news papers and media always had some news about Kookiiez everyday with something fresh and new to tell.
Most of the workers in that store were young college students. They make $20.00 per day eversince last year when Sunil Malhotra re-married his first wife and now is living happily with her but sometimes, he sees other women. The two interesting workers there were the bubbly Pooja who was born in New York but still had desi values in her but yet, she is a girl of today with attitude, looks, and behavior. The other worker was Ronit. He too was born and brought up in New York but always had the western values in him. So far for the past three years, Ronit had failed High School. This is his first time passing and graduating high school and now is all set to go to New York University. Eversince Pooja and Ronit started working, things always goes wrong. Sometimes customers ends up complaining against them and sometime your girls ends up falling for Ronit but the next day, Ronit ends up getting a slap from them. The other times, Pooja and Ronit keeps on fighting day to night and forgets about half of the customers there. Something similar like this happende today which made Sunil Malhotra a bit mad at them.
Sunil: (throwing his files everywhere inside his office and yelling at Pooja-Ronit) TUM DONO KE WAJAH SE..MERA NUKSAAN HO RAHA HAI!! I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND KE WHY CAN'T YOU GUYS JUST GEL ALONG TOGETHER?? Ab Sam aur Anne ko hi dekhlo...dono ek saath kaam kartein kartein...dono ek dusrein se they both ended up marrying each other...aur aab divorce bhi hogaya...aur dono phir se ek saath yaha kaam karne laggaye..aur aaj tak koi yeh nahi notice kya ke un dono ke divorce hogaye hain. WHY THE HELL CAN'T YOU TWO BE LIKE THEM??
Pooja: SIR...AAP THEEK TO HAI NA...MAIN IS LADKE SE SHAADI...CHI!! NEVER!
Ronit: And I can't marry this girl either sir...mere image ka kya hoga?? Just think about my image sir...Ronit Gujral...the most happeni'n hot guy in high school marrying a typical desi girl......EEWWW GOD HELL NO!
Pooja: (To Ronit) What the hell do you think of yourself huh?? tumhe kya lagta hain ke main bhi tum jaise attitude walein ke saath shaadi karoongi? NEVER!!
Ronit: (To Pooja) Excuse me...what the hell do you think of yourself?? (To Sunil) Sir aapko pata hai..yeh hamesha mujhe order deti rehti hain..Ronit..tum yeh karo..Ronit tum vo karo..Ronit..tum vo cookie sheet pe sarein chocolate chips cookies ke dough ko rakkho...aur sir ek din pata hai what she told me to do...she asked to tie the apron on her since her hands were dirty..aur vo ek choti blouse pehene hui thi.
Pooja: Aur pata hai sir kya hua? He...he...he...he kissed my bare back when he tied my apron!
Sunil: HAILA!! Kissing bhi hogaye!!
Pooja: Haan Sir!! Aur phir uske baad..vo meri kamar ko dekh kar smile kar raha tha.....ek naughty smile!
Ronit: Sir..yeh sab to normal hai na...agar koi bhi ladki choti kapdein pehenke bahar hoti hai, to ladkein to unhe ghoor ghoor ke dekhenge na?
Sunil: Haan yaar! Mere saath bhi aisa hi hua tha...pata hai, jab main ek bhikhri tha..tab mere paas ek aurat ayi thi..kasam se yaar..ke hotty thi..aur kadein..HAAAAAAAYYEEEE!!
Pooja: SIR!!
Sunil: Anyways...lets come back to the point..Pooja, Ronit please yaar..try and work together..you guys are my favorite workers...and I would hate to have you guys fired! So please try okay!
Pooja: (giving a tentative look) Okay sir..koshish karoongi.
Ronit: (rolling his eyes) Okay Sir....whatever!
Right after Pooja and Ronit leaves Sunil's office inside the store, another employee named Laura comes in there. Laura wanted to leave for couple of days but Sunil wouldn't let her go anywhere. Laura sits on his lap and takes out her cell phone and shows Sunil a scene of their "love" and tells him if he doens't give her a vacation, she will show this to his wife. Nervous Sunil decides to give her a nacation but tells her to come back as quick as possible.
Outside his office, Pooja, Ronit along with other employees were busy serving orders to the customers and making cookies. Pooja notices Ronit filling out some applications. She decides to see what he's filling out.
Pooja: Kya hai yeh?
Ronit: Dekh nahi sakti kya? Yeh New York University ke applications hain..ju mujhe aaj fill up karkein shaam ko paanch bajein ke pehele submit karna hai.
Pooja: Well in that case, let me tell you ke paanch bajne mein kaafi time hai..isiliye..yeh aaplication baad mein fill karna..aur help me with my orders...okay!
Ronit: NO! Mujhe yeh abhi fill up karna hai..orders baad mein loonga!
Pooja: Ronit..please...try and understand ke...
Ronit: (sees someone walking in the store) ARRE BAAP RE!! Pooja please hide me...agar tum aisa kiya na, to phir tum jo kahogi main karoonga..leking please hide me! (hides under the counter table)
Pooja: (talking in her mind) Yeh kaun hain?? Aur Ronit isse dekh kar chup kyun gaya hain?....Pooja..daal mein kuch kaala hain...you have to find out girl! (smiles)
