Manjari moves on--indya.com

In tonight's episode of STAR One's prime time show Yeh Ishq Haaye, the mahurat for her marriage will be fixed and her father Chaturvedi will run around to arrange money for the weddings. Manjari will be his only support.

A STAROne.in source elaborates, "Manjari is unhappy and sad but has decided to put her past behind and move ahead. When she realises that after forgiving her mistakes, her parents want to see her settled with Sanjay, she decides to adhere to their wishes. Post her engagement, her dad will learn that the mahurat has to be in ten days, same day as Puja's wedding or after 17 months. So both families will decide to get Sanjay and Manjari married in ten days. But Manjari's dad Chaturvedi will find it tough to arrange money. As he will be running low on funds, he will decide to look for a job. But being elderly, he will be rejected everywhere. When he reaches a travel and tour agency, they will insult him, which is where Manjari will land too and defend her dad. She will jump to his defense and reprimand the agency owners. She will be like the old Manjari who protected her loved ones. She will forget her diary at the agency which they will read and ask her to write some literature for their company. Manjari will accept the job as she wants to be a son to her dad and help him out."

Smiling Mr Chaturvedi says, "I was very happy with my life right now. Both my daughters will soon get settled. But I am proud of Manjari who like a fighter defended my honour. The agency guys felt I was too old and wouldn't know the western culture but she reasoned that foreigners come to India to see Indian culture. Manjari sure has grown since she has been away and become very mature and responsible."

An unhappy, nervous and sad Manjari aka Shristy Rode claims, "I was aghast that people in India would behave so rudely with their elders. I sure gave them a piece of my mind. I am going to be there for my father every step of the way. I am not going to be selfish but put their needs and desires before mine. I am trying to forget the past and live in the present. I want to make my parents happy, and erase all the pain and sorrow, I caused them. Every time Akshay and I stepped towards each other, destiny brought in some twist to draw us apart. Perhaps we are not meant to be together. Akshay has moved on in life and so have I. Now, looking forward I will do everything I can to make my parents happy."

Will destiny intervene again and bring Manjari and Akshay together? OR will Manjari sacrifice her happiness and get married to Sanjay?
