STAR Ones new prime time show Yeh Ishq Haaye, is a story of a cute and bubbly Manjari, who loves dancing.

She will be a tough competition for Ajay in a dance competition in which both Manjari - Ajay will be performing on the title track on Anjana-Anjani.

We spoke to Manjari who is very excited about the dance sequence, "I am quite excited that I will be performing in my society's competition and that too with Ajay. I am very passionate about dancing. I'm not only excited about dancing but I am also happy about the Durga Pooja in my society as all my family members will be taking part in Durga Pooja celebration."

Further she told us about Anjana-Anjani title track, "I am happy that I have selected this song for the competition and I am sure even the audience would love my performance with Ajay. The dance is choreographed by the famous choreographer Habiba. Before the competition starts there will be lots of masti while my dear friend Akshay will be in the audience and will encourage me."

Later on we asked her about the show as it is replacing the famous show Dill Mill Gayee, "Oh yes, I am quite nervous but at the same time I am very excited as my show is launching and I want to tell the audience please do accept me and give me the same love that you all had given to Armaan-Riddhima."

The show starts with the introduction of Manjari, as she is a bindass girl and will also have the Pooja celebration at her house as everyone are gathered there. Don't forget to watch this chirpy Manjari from 1 November only on STAR One.

Yeh Ishq Haaye's Akshay Unveiled

Meet Akshay (Raunaq Ahuja) from the soon to be aired show that has already created a lot of buzz - Yeh Ishq Haaye on STAR One.

He is the protagnist Majari's (Srishty Rode) childhood friend and also her support system who is always there when she needs him. He is secretely in love with her and plans to propose to her after she completes her studies.The charming Akshay is also mature and responsible and the perfect guy in every sense. We speak to Raunaq and find out more about Akshay.

What do you like best about your character Akshay?

What I like best about him is that he is a very simple chap with a clean heart and of course he is in love. I love people who are in love.

Why according to you is Yeh Ishq Haayedifferent?

YIH is different in the sense that it is somewhere between being a very youthful show and a usual daily soap, I have never been a part of such a genre.

Are then any similarities between Akshay and Raunaq?

No, not many similarities

Are you an introvert like Akshay?

Absolutely not. I am totally an extrovert.

Like your character have you ever been in a situation where you liked a girl but was hesitant to propose to her?

No, I always walked up to a girl I like and say 'hi, I like you'.

Did you always aspire to be an actor?

Not really, I prefer to go with the flow, but I always wanted to be a part of this industry.

Your favorite co-stars?

Ankita Shrivastava, Amit Gupta, Akshat Gupta, Darpan Shrivastava. I don't think I can stop as the list is very long.

The actors you wish to work with in the future?

I haven't thought about that but I would surely love to work with all these guys I just mentioned.

One role you would love to play in the future?

I would love to play a cop once.

Fall in love with Srishty Rode from tonight...

Star One's new show Yeh Ishq Haaye is going on air today and Srishty Rode anxiously shares her feelings with Tellybuzz.

Srishty Rode gets her first big opportunity to showcase her acting prowess with Star One's new show Yeh Ishq Haaye, which launches tonight!! The girl is a good performer, dancer and a wonderful person to work with, and was identified by the Producer Rajesh Chadha in one of his earlier shows. Srishty's father Tony Rode happens to be an old hand in the industry and has been the cinematographer forRamayan in Imagine TV and Prithviraj Chauhanin Star Plus.

Srishty is looking forward to play the bubbly girl Manjari who has a firm belief in love at first sight.

A really excited Srishty tells Tellybuzz "I am really very excited about the show going on air and I am getting calls from all my friends and relatives and like me, all are equally excited. The unit is planning to watch the first episode tonight from the sets."

She adds "I wanted to go to Siddhivinayak Temple before the show got on air, but I could not do so, due to the hectic schedule. I am planning to go tomorrow morning if possible."

Srishty also shared how her father has an important role as her supporter."Dad has supported me when it comes to the camera angles and techniques and I am eagerly waiting for his comments. He is equally thrilled about the show going on air today"

Srishty has really worked hard for the show as the show needs her in every scene and the story revolves around her character Manjari, who is in search of her true love. Manjari doesn't like two kinds of boys, 'one who falls in love easily and the other who really takes time to fall in love'. Will she find her love?

Yashdeep and Raunaq Ahuja in Yeh Ishq Haaye..

Yashdeep Nain and Raunaq Ahuja have been roped in to play the male leads in Rajesh Chadha's new show on Star One, Yeh Ishq Haaye..

TellyBuzz had recently reported that Rajesh Chadha who heads the new company (which is part of the Sphere Group) Panglosean Entertainment is working on a love story for Star One, titled Yeh Ishq Haaye.

The story will be a typical love story set in the backdrop of Agra, and will involve a girl and three boys.

The channel and production house are almost done with the casting process.

We hear that Yashdeep Nain of Lux Perfect Bride fame has been roped in to play one of the lead guys. Raunaq Ahujawho is presently seen in Zee TV's Sanjog Se Bani Sanginiwill be the other male lead.

A little birdie tells us, "Shrishti Rode, a bubbly and chirpy college going girl has been selected to play the female lead. She has earlier played a small role in BAG Films' Ek Thi Rajkumari for 9X. Yashdeep Nain who has been talked about for being the guy in Parul Chauhan's life, and Raunaq Ahujawill be playing the leads. Himanshoo Malhotra might be cast as the third guy in the show".

The show is expected to go on floors in the next few days, and the launch will probably happen in the last week of September. Yeh Ishq Haaye will get a daily prime time slot on Star One.

We tried calling Raunaq Ahuja and Yashdeep, but they remained unavailable.

We tried calling Producer Rajesh Chadha, and even sent him a text message, but did not get any revert.

Srishty Rode as Manjari in Yeh Ishq Haaye on Star One

Srishty Rode is one of the new discovery who is debuting on Indian Television as one of the female lead on Star One's new show Yeh Ishq Haaye. She is a cheerful and chirpy college girl. It would be really interesting to see an actual college going girl, who's also full of life, playing one of the key role in a love story on the tracks of Jab We Met.

Srishty Rode potraying the character Manjari, who is very popular in the neighborhood. A born 'romantic', generous at heart and very impulsive by nature, she is the kind who can almost always justify the 'MEANS' for a worthy 'END', which most of the times is not agreed or accepted by others'. She lives for the moment and believes in enjoying it to the fullest. She would lie when it suits her, would exploit her friends when she needs them, would start fights and quarrels and still get away with all that and be everybody's favourite. Loves music and is the agony aunt for all her friends. She herself believes that 'love' is something that happens at the 'first-sight' and that rest of the kinds of love are nothing but a compromise. She keeps a 'maun vrat' on every Wednesday, for her love, and that's the day when everyone has a chance to get back at her, the only day that anyone can win an argument with her. For her, God exists only to fulfill our desires and wishes…so she goes to him only when she needs him. Rest of the time she believes he shouldn't be disturbed as he has lots of people to take care of. Her biggest fantasy is to fall in love at the first sight and to take her guy for a ride on a moonlit night. With her doing the riding bit and the guy holding her tight from behind...

"Today every serial is women oriented"- Shrishti

How does it feel to be starting of your career with this show and what is it like to be associated with Star one?

It feels awesome. Our show is something very different and I'm happy that I'm playing this role of Manjarithat is so different from the other lead roles that have been portrayed earlier..

So what is so different about this character?
This show is based on Manjaris journey to find her true love. It's a journey that my character has to go through to come across the right one.

So what has been your claim to Fame?
Well i have done a couple of ads for companies like Fair and Lovely and BSNL but i believe that my actual fame will come once this serial starts off.

How is it working with Yash and Raunaq and the other co stars?
Its just feels awesome and it is a youth oriented show and all of us here on the sets are young and so it's like a blast and we are all very bubbly.

This show is believed to be a Women oriented serial is that true?
Today every serial is women oriented and it gives a message to the women that how they can lead their lives in a much better way.........Our show also revolves round my character so i wouldn't say that it is not women oriented.

We wish the show and the team all the very best. DMG will surely be missed but, we hope the new show will make a place for itself in the hearts of the people.

Manjari goes spiritual

STAR One's newly launched show Yeh Ishq Haaye is a cute story based on the life of Manjari Chaturvedi, who is played by Shristhy Rode.

The show had just replaced Dill Mill Gayee and the first episode was aired yesterday at 8 pm on STAR One. Manjari, who is excited about the show, wants to go to Siddhivinayak to thank Lord Ganesha.

We spoke to Manjari, who said that she wanted to go to Siddhivinayak on the day the show launched, but due to her busy schedule she was unable to visit. "I have told the production unit that I want to go and they have said that I can go in two days, as the pressure will be less. So I plan on going on Friday with my family to thank Lord Ganesha for making this show work for me. I believe in hard work and what follows is up to the Lord," she says.

We then asked her if she is as spiritual onscreen as she is in real life. "Both Manjari and Shrishty are spiritual. I go to the temple, Gurudwara and the church. I believe that hard work pays off and hope that the audience likes the show."

The story revolves around her character Manjari, who is in search of her true love. Manjari doesn't like two kinds of boys, 'One who falls in love easily and the other who really takes time to fall in love'. Will she find her love?
