The show is turning too confusing.

Logic is out of the window obviously.

What does RuSha mean when they talk about exposing Mahima?

If they get Arjun to expose Mahima infront of the whole family, how will that make a difference?

Also CC sisters still hold a grudge on Preesha even after she left KH and why are they being so nice to Mahima?

No re, KZK actually did get good TRPs for a while but then they messed around with the storyline and increased the focus on vamps and made the leads do the same sh*te over and over again. Obviously, the TRP aunties got bored but instead of trying to focus on the story even then, EK CVs went with mind-numbing twists and we all know what happened.

For YHC, we reached 2+ with Ru's confession and agreed, Mahima storyline added drama which the TRP audience loves. But the problem is now they are focusing too much on Mahima. Mahima is needed to add color to RuSha's story and create conflicts between them but at the end of the day we all are here to watch Ru and Pree, even the TRP aunties. Last week, the TRP went down because of the hyper-focus on M's scheming. This week, TRP increased not because of the molestation scene but like Bhagya mentioned we had Rusha working together and lots of good scenes between them and Pree also gave back to M. And anyway, if TRP audience really wanted to watch molestation, Imlie wouldn't have been able to beat KDB.

@red - I think we are past that phase where TRP aunties love to watch the leads crying buckets. I mean yeah sure, they can be conflicted and pained and sad but if they go the hapless helpless route again, it's gonna fail (case in point: cooker 2.0).

@bold - second this! That TRP increase has been due to RuSha scenes & that precap.

What else was so different from last week except RuSha working together??

KZK 2 was horrible and OTT right from the start .. I was brought up on the original but this didn't have 10% of the original charm ..

I don't expect Mahima track to drag wayyy tooo longer as YHC TRP aunties also have less threshold point than the bhagyas ..which has been proved ..they also want Rusha to be together or working together ..but yaa for sure another 1 month..

I am sure will be fed with lollilops bigger or smaller in size and if he we get bored we always have the off screen drama to indulge in ...

Wow, still 2.2! I guess YHC does have a pretty loyal TV audience or maybe a more optimistic one who keep waiting for the show to get better like the online folks.

Anyway, my apologies, CVs! I guess I kept expecting the writing to get better so it could compete with the other top 4 SP shows but at this point, the makers seem to be pretty happy competing with cooker 2.0. Haha, have to applaud your choice, makers - nicely done! 👏

I would say relatively speaking we are doing amazing for our time slot. Sad that this TRP is coming now when it should have come before with the Rudra’s realizing he is in love tracks. Either way. We are in top 8 overall and 5th in Star Plus with no promos. YRKKH shot up because they received a promo and their FL was killed 😆

I see the new show Pandya Stores is launching at 11 PM. Seems to be a family drama with a good cast and going by the trend, they might end up doing well in the ratings. If they manage to get better TRPs, I wonder if SP will move them to 9 PM and try to finally compete with KKB. 😆

@blue - Actually, I have a different take here. Even during Ru's love realization track, we had pretty consistent TRPs, were the slot leader, and were within top 10 overall and top 3/4 in SP. Hence my guess that the audience base is pretty loyal.

It's just that after IPL, the other SP shows with proper writing, drama, and good acting shot up (all of them are pretty much around/above 3 now with Anupama touching on 4) while YHC is still lagging at early 2s (like they were before). If anything, I would say YHC ended up losing out on the growth trajectory with the continued shitty writing and lack of proper balance between leads and drama.

Regarding YRKKH, true they had promotions but they just completed 1200 episodes and even then they managed to get 2.7! Like it or not, that's no mean feat and needs to be applauded. Plus, considering they have to deal with KDB in that slot, I would say they are doing pretty well.

'Khatarnaak' might just be the next 'Rasode mein kaun tha'! 😆

Not sure what to feel😆 but happy that the show is increasing its loyal audience base at this late time slot.. There was a time when TRP was stuck at 1.8/ 1.9 & I thought it will never go up.. that was the time when we had some amazing episodes.. Now even with the crappiest episodes & no promo it's stable at 2.2, with very run of the mill episode..so whatever happens with the track, this loyal viewership is going to stay for some time.. YHC is one show which belongs to the slow & steady winning the race category.. Slowly but consistently increasing viewership is much better than initial or occasional spike in TRP & which falls eventually..

And with more dramatic content like any of the leads getting attacked or a marriage mandap drama or the climax of the track WITH A PROMO is going to push TRP to atleast 2.4...

I'm pretty much sure Mahima is going to be a permanent villan.. but it would be good to give her a temporary exit & bring her back later.. + reduce her screen space😵 I'm not sure whether the makers are getting minute by minute viewership indicating people are not changing channel during M scenes & that can be the only reason they are increasing her SS

Anyway, since the TRP has stabilized hope they balance Rusha with drama from next week..

On another note, I wish people stop using time-slot as an excuse. We had pretty much comparable TRPs with other prime-time shows pre and during IPL. And this was when the more interesting tail-end overs would happen at 10:30 PM and BB was just starting.

And now with Anupama touching 4 in the 10 PM slot, a trickling down effect is normal and couple that with IPL ending, I would have expected YHC's TRPs to rise as well with the potential they had. But it's not. It's pretty much stuck at 2.1/2.2 while the rest keep on rising. So, unless the CVs are really smoking some 'khatarnaak' sh*t, I think it's very easy to figure out what's working and what's not. 😊
